Dei Duchi Hotel, Spoleto

The hotel is located on the edge of the town. Walk in one one direction and you are in the old town looking over the Roman Theatre. In the other direction you are in the park. From the Hotel dining room you are looking out onto the green foothills of the Appenines. Beautiful at any time and fantastic at sunset. The staff were very helpful although a bit thin on the ground at times. The rooms were very comfortable and cleaned to a high standard. Don,t miss a visit to the Cathedral and look at those beatiful frescoes by Filipo Lippi in the apse.
