Don't bother, there are nice places in San Pedro
My wife and I stayed there for two nights on our Honeymoon in June. We had booked 4 nights, but wanted no part of it after the first two. The pictures make it look much nicer than it is. We were excited because we were getting emails asking us when we were showing up because they would pick us up from the downtown water taxi, free of charge. We told them when and where, put alas, no one was there when arrived. We mentioned this to them when we did get there and they pretty much shrugged us off, not really caring. The room we stayed in was dirty, bugs/ants everywhere, the wifi did not work in the room, the AC sounded like a jet engine and there were calcium deposits all over the bathroom fixtures. We told the office manager about this and they offered to upgrade us for another $40 a night... no thanks! The office closes at 6pm every evening, so forget about taking an early evening dip in the pool with a pool towel because they are locked away in the office. The pool is dirty anyway along with the filthy not hot hottubs. We told them we didn't want to stay there anymore and off we went for $40 more at the fantastic and pristine Victoria House. They of course did not refund us the two nights we that we didn't stay there.
