Appealing rooms and cooked to order breakfast
We picked this hotel at random because we were in town visiting friends, it was late, and Yahoo! Travel said they had vacancies. We literally pulled in at 11pm without booking ahead of time. Front desk reception was pleasant.
As a boutique hotel, the rooms and the general hotel are decorated more nicely than larger corporate hotel chains. The rooms were visually appealing.
The breakfast was not typical Holiday Inn/Best Western/Quality Inn/... serve yourself waffle machine and cereal. Instead, the breakfast room had a kitchen with a cook taking individual orders for pancakes, waffles, french toast, and omelets. Pleasant but you did have to wait a little longer. On the other hand, you weren't cooking he waffle yourself.
If I had but one complaint, it would be that I felt the in room refrigerator and air conditioner were far noisier than recent hotels we stayed at.
The price was comparable or better than other similar class hotels with nicer decor and better breakfast option. And I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone else.
