Disappointed

We just returned from an 8-night stay at the Cypress Harbour. We were seriously disappointed in our stay.
Although the rooms were spacious, they were dirty. The mattresses were saggy and filthy, the window curtains had bugs in them, the chairs in the family room area were worn and needed a good cleaning. The first night we arrived there were clumps of hair in the bathroom that weren't ours. The door to the unit was covered with dirt and bug smatters. The tap water reeked of a sewage smell. The shower was covered with mold and clearly wasn't cleaned very well. The washer and dryer were convenient to have, but needed to be wiped down as they had a moldy smell to them. The towels are thin and worn. At first, we only had two pool towels for our whole family.
The pools were nice but needed to be cleaned more often. When you swam, it was difficult to avoid clumps of hair, debris, and dirt floating on the surface. The walkway to the clubhouse was poorly maintained. There were many rails that were broken and needed to be replaced!
Overall, for what we paid, we were disappointed that the room/facility was as dirty as it was. We have stayed with Marriott a number of times in the past and have never had a problem.
