Horrible service
Booked through Yahoo Travel having never been to the hotel. Arrived to check in. The first clerk couldn't find our reservation, couldn't figure out how to run our card, then had an attitude when I asked which room we were in, since I'd not been told.
I guess it was the end of his shift, because when I went back in 5 minutes later to retrieve our credit card which hadn't been given back, a new, even smarmier clerk was at the desk.
Both clerks' appearances were extremely unprofessional, especially for what was purported to be a somewhat decent motel.
Shady characters hanging out at the pool, staring, didnt help matters any.
After a long drive, I went downstairs to the soda machine to find all of them out of order. I stopped in the office to ask if there was a working one and was told rather pointedly that they DID work. Okay. I went back and found that one in fact did, but it was unplugged. The plug was sitting in standing water, right next to the unsecured, open pool chemicals. My two year old daughter would have surely had fun with those.
Back at the room, the sofa bed was without sheets. I called down to the office to ask for some, and was told, extremely rudely, to come get them myself. I did, and brought our room keycards with me. We checked out and went to the Quality Inn next door. Same money, superb service.
Executive Inn was so bad that I'll be keeping an eye on my credit card to make sure there aren't any unauthorized charges popping up on it. Seriously.
