I picked this hotel because it was inexpensive and near San Antonio River. The rooms are larger than I expected, with a sitting area and desk that you can actually work at. The decor is nice with unexpected touches and details you don’t usually see on value priced hotels. The rooms are ridiculously clean; linens fresh and crisp, paint looks brand new. The free WI FI works very well, very fast. The Hotel is near to the Bill Miller Bar-B-Q restaurants in easy walking distance. The breakfast was superb with several choices -- fresh waffles in the shape of Texas, cereal, juices, oatmeal, pastries, bagels, coffee. All in all it's a comfortable and convenient place and the hotel I choose on every trip to San Antonio, TX.

Pictures online didnt match what we seen walking into our room. The bathroom fixtures looked like they were installed by a 9th grader, being hacked into shape to fit. The water smelled bad. Room smelled musty. The building, front office, walkway, sidewalks were are all trashy looking and dirty. The trash cans outside were overflowing. I will not be staying at this hotel again. I got the room reservation sale for $69/night so I guess I got what I paid for, but I dont think so.

First off when we got there the beds were soaking wet the place smelled of milldew Infested with bugs Lied about pricing Rented one room for 2 nights spent 210 dollars i was supposed to have a millitary discount and the orignal price with the discount for the night was 85 dollars total to stay both nights when i asked over the phone

We got back from sea world and our bathroom was flooded from some pipes in the ceiling I had to clean it up the person working the desk said he would go check the up stairs room he never called me back and the water driped all night long from the ceiling. A roach crawled across our nightstand. The freezer in our room was so full of ice you could not put anything in it. The room was dirty stinky and when I asked him about the total satifaction money back if not happy policy the manager told me that next time I stay with them it will be better. Dont think so.

The first thing that was noticeable of course was the bathroom all around the shower, tub and soap holder there was much mold, the towels and sheets had ugly stains that were brownish in color. There was paint on the towel holder, toilet seat. The shower curtain was a gross-out to the touch. Now the beds mattresses totally uncomfortable with flat pillows. And last but not least it has no Pool and the parking was horrible for weekends. Also they are still under construction so you will eat there hot breakfast in one of there spare rooms not in a nice eating area.

The location of the motel was convenient although road construction made it diffacult to access. They were doing renavation so the noise was a bit loud during the day. The staff was very friendly and the pool was great. The air conditioner was not working right and the floor was wet and although we told them about it, they never came and fixed it.

San Antonio is the perfect place for a "last minute" or "extended weekend" getaway. The hotel was okay - nothing luxurious about it. We were on the go most of the time so it was nice enough to shower and sleep. The hotel offers a free breakfast buffet - pancakes, burritos, cereal, etc. The staff was very,very, kind. It is conviently located to restaurants, Wal-Mart, Target, Dave & Busters, downtown (Market Square/Riverwalk), and Seaworld (about 15 minutes). Unfortunately, it's not in the best part of town. If you'd like to stay here, call the hotel to check their rates before reserving online -- you could possibly get a cheaper rate! Had to learn that the hard way and I couldn't get a refund for the difference.

The hotel was rated a 3 star when I made my reservations which in the past at least guarenteed that the place would be clean and well kept. That wasn't true in this case. I noticed in checking on the rating now that it only shows a 2 star which I would have never booked in the first place. Someone was misleading somewhere. The hotel was in disrepair and the cleaning of the rooms was pathetic at best. We would leave our room for the day and come back to see the same dirt or lint on the carpet with no vacuuming. There was hair in the corners of the bathroom floor the entire five days and the dust buildup on the drapes was visible from a distance. It was supposed to be a Quality Inn but our favorite saying was that it was a Quarter Quality Inn at best! Not too impressed!!

This hotel was easy to find, located between the airport and downtown. The night manager was wonderful, he made sure you were always happy. The breakfast was hot and great every morning. The hotel actually looked like the pictures on Yahoo!. The housekeeping was terrible....there was still food left in the frig when we got there from the last people. It took them until the afternoon before our room was clean. I don't think that they ran a sweeper once on our floors in four days. That was the only bad thing about this hotel. If you happen to stay there, you have to stop at Bill Miller BBQ next door. The food, prices, and service is worth the trip.

It was near everything we needed, seemed more crowded in room than other hotels we've been to. The iron didnt work, but they were quick to change it. Good enough to sleep for the night.
