Super 8 Antigo, Antigo

Checked in late, so slept late and went down to grab a cup of coffe and a paper to take up to our room. We planned to go back down to the lounge for the Continental breakfast a bit later, thinking that the food was going to be served for awhile. Went back down an hour later to discover that that breakfast was over, the food had been put away. We asked the woman at the front desk if we could get a piece of fruit or something, and she actually opened the kitchen for us and made sure that we had their full Continental breakfast, down to taking a new Danish Kringle out of the freezer and heating it for us to try...it was delicious! But what was really great was how accomodating she was. We travel a lot, and more commonly would have been told "tough luck, you're late". The rooms were recently updated and they were very clean, as was the pool area. We were quite comfortable, and will stay here again. The attitude of the people that work at a place of business like this can really set the tone of your trip. Everyone that we spoke with at the Hotel was pleasant and helpful, from the front desk people to the cleaning staff. We travel to Langlade County several times a year, and we will stay at this hotel again!

The staff was knowledgable about the local area and very friendly and willing to assist. Our room was clean, reasonably priced, and waiting as promised. The parking is convenient and easy to access from the main highway.

The Super 8 hotel is not a great hotel. I was with a group reservation, and booked up a room, but the room wasn't there when I checked in.

I didn't care for this hotel at all. Unfriendly, costly (you have to pay for two nights if you stay on the weekend). Next time I am in Antigo, I will stay at the Northwood's Birch Inn.

I stay in Antigo on business and found the Super 8 hotel to be not up to par to the Northwoods birch Inn. It was not as clean, too expensive, and the clerks at the front desk were not very friendly. I will never go back.

The only clean, reliable hotel in the area for about twenty miles!!!!!
