It was good, for the price..
By lalover, 04/05/09
ewell lets do cons firs.. 1. the water didnt get hot enough for my bath, even with the nozel all the way on the hot water side, I still filled up the tub and could still ay in it as though it was only warm. 2. room service is very expensive, but what room service is cheap? and I believe I ordered so much that they gave me a complimentary cheesecake dessert with dinner and extra juice with my breakfast. So i payed off in a way. 3. the room is pretty nice fo the price, my husband and I just felt as though they were trying to hard for the hotel to be a higher star level than what it really was, meaning it looks as though it used to be a best western and they tried to put bandages and duct tape and nice mirrors to tur it into a marriot chain, lol. 4. The bathroom does NOT have an extractor, so when you take a shower the whole room gets muggy, not to mention when you "use" he bathroom.. 5. the psrking is soo expensive, we booked the "surf and turf" package which includes internet and parking, BIG help, I recomend. 6. location location location, its right next to the projects, industrial buildings and airport parking areas. Ok, the pros, 1. the staff is friendly and helpful, the bellman is very detail orientaited, took our bags upstairs and left them in our room without us coming up since we wanted to eat llunch, he even put our coats on hangers. 2. the lobby is very nice and clean, so is the little martini lounge, nice atmosphere. 3. room service is very friendly and FAST. 4. the tv is great! is a LARGE flat screen, movies are way too expensive, lol, but has basic cable, HBO and the disney channel for my son. 5. the beds are WONDERFUL. clean and COMFORABLE. 6. cleaning ladies were great, left a nice tip and it got us new clean towels and clean sheets, which otherwise you have to ask for, I guess its true, a little tip gets you alot!! For what I payed with an online discount, $115 a night, I think it was worth it, just make sure you get a discount and because its not worh FULL price..

location was perfect
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/12/07
The location was perfect and the staff went out of their way to assist us with information on ski packages, tours and shopping. The service was great! The complimentary breakfast was a real treat and a money saver. We met other guests from all over the United States and enjoyed visiting with them.

Absolutely astounding.....
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/30/06
I had to stay at this hotel because of some training through a well known electronics retail company..... I didn't have to pay for anything so I can't really rate the value, but this hotel has got to be THE best one I've ever stayed in.....granted to location was sort of lacking, the interior of this place was amazing. First I was taken aback by the beautiful lobby. The restaurant served AMAZING food (a lot of my food was accounted for because it was covered by the retail store......(breakfast and lunch) but I did eat at the restaurant once) The food that we were catered with BLEW me away for hotel food. And THE best part of this entire hotel are the rooms. They are VERY cozy feeling (Down pillows, down comforter.....Simmons BackCare beds (which I might add were THE most comfortable beds I've EVER slept on.....I slept like a ROCK) .......I never felt homesick while I was here and I want to get myself one of the beds they have in their rooms!!!!

Convenience Without Sacrafice
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/28/06
Normally, my trips to LA include a long drive through stressful traffic. On my last trip I decided to stay at the Montura near the LAX airport. I was quite surprised by how nice the hotel was. All future trips to LA will include a stay at the Montura.

Best Hotel in Los Angeles
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/13/06
Out of all our trips to LA, this was the best hotel! The central location was great and it didn't even feel like we were by the airport. As a family, we went to Disneyland one day and then headed up to Hollywood the next, and it was nice to stay in a hotel that was close to everything. I will stay here again!

Very Elegant Place!
By Barbara, 02/25/06
There was nothing I didn't like about staying there, except I wasn't there long enough; wish I had stayed a week, the bathroom was awesome, and the service was outstanding! The people that worked there were so nice, and friendly, and helpful. I highly recommend the place! The beds were feather down and so very soft, and comfy!

Very Nice
By Gabriela, 09/28/05
I can hear the planes land, but that wasn't bad. It's close to the airport and Car rental agencies. Restaurants are pretty close and also close to the ocean. The staff are friendly too.
