not so great
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/15/11
I been going there for over the past four years. This stay was the worst. Room smell with smoke for a non-smoking room. Service poor stayed over a week room only cleaned twice. Complained to front desk didn't care. Also, why didn't get a bill for room staff sais don't like to waste paper. Will never stay there again

okay- not great
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/6/07
The location is good and right next door to Perkins(we ate there 3 meals on a 2 night stay). The room was nice enough, clean enough with a ugly view of an alley way/brick wall. Great location for Dorney Park. You can probably walk there but you have to take a jughandle and it's probably 1 mile more away. What we didn't like at all: The halls smelled and had stained rugs(like a pet, litterbox maybe?). The pool was kind of gross-heated to maybe 75 degrees but so much chlorine my skin and eyes were burning and the water was slightly cloudy-yuck! The breakfast was really lame-they advertise a hot breakfast which amounts to a toasted waffle, Then they have some packaged muffins and apples all served in the lobby-not enough room and 2 tables for guests to eat.

Beautiful Rooms and great staff
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/19/06
The hotel just finished a $million dollar upgrade. I stayed for 2 weeks on business. They put HILTON STYLE carpeting, beds, furniture. great pool and jacuzzi. It was very clean and fresh. Location is great and the staff was friendly and helpful. Thumbs up for business and families.

Staff was friendly, Pool was great, tons of food places, location great....want more..then Make a reservation here....Its worth 100x more than the price.. Thumbs up. Nice for business or personal trips..across dorney park, near shopping and colleges, and much more.

Don't go there!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/28/06
I was in a non-smoking room, problem is that 1/2 the rooms on the same floor were smoking and my room door had a 1 1/2 inch gap at the bottom so that allowed smoke to roll into my room. I complained at the front desk and they didn't seem to care!

It could have been a great
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/13/05
place to stay but the non-smoking room smelled of old cigarette smoke that was in the furniture and bedding. The hallway had crushed potato chips on the carpet. If you don't mind the smell of stale cigarettes, the room appeared clean, there was soap, shampoo, hair dryer, iron, cable t.v. The price can't be beat.

You Just Can't Beat This Place.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/29/05
This place was great for the price. I mean it's not the Ritz - but neither is the price tag. For 50 bucks we had a nice clean room with a good size fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Originally I had reserved a Queen bed room and was upgraded for free to a King Size Bed without even requesting it. They had a great little indoor pool and jacuzzi which my kids loved. They also had breakfast in the lounge which consisted of cereal, toast, english muffins, muffins, danish, coffee, tea, two different kinds of juice. It is right across the street from Dorney Park - easy to find - and has lods of places to dine and shop. We are definately coming to this place again.

STAY AWAY with a capital A
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/18/05
The front desk attendant 'mark' had deceived me over the phone in charging my credit card $145 for a room I never stayed in because when I drove from my home town to check in (on vacation) to the hotel, I saw the condition of the room and the grounds and could not believe the filth and terrible public attention. I refused to stay there and called to cancel over the phone (way in advance of the cancellation policy) and 'mark' became irrate over the phone telling me he would charge my card anyway. I told him he couldn't do that and asked to speak to the manager of the hotel. He hung up and never transferred me to the manager. I went to a nearby hotel and checked in and told them the story and they said to me "I can't believe they get away with what they do to people and that there have been numerous complaints from several others". Bankrupt Crooks!
