Baymont Inn & Suites Louisville East, Louisville

I was planning a trip to Louisville with my kids and was hoping to stay here. After reading the reviews I think id be better off pitching a tent on the river bank. Thank you for posting these reviews this sounds like a horrible place to stay.

We reserved two nights at this hotel in Louisville for business (I'm and insurance agent) and because my husband was ill I brought him and our small yorkie with us. Our ROOM WAS FILTHY AND SMELLED OF URINE AS SOON AS WE WALKED IN OUR SHEETS WERE STAINED AND SMELLED AS WELL! We complained and requested a new room and after waiting 30minutes for them to find a different room they offered us A DOUBLE bed in replacement of the KING bed we reserved. I explained we couldn't fit in the double bed being offered and the employee told us we could cancel our reservation for no charge. WRONG! I went down to check out and the manager said he had to check the room. When he returned he said the room was used we owed cleaning fee. I explained that the employee said no charge because of their inability to accommodate our reservations with a clean non urine filled smelly room but the manager begin yelling at me telling me I was no longer allowed on the premises and yelling " I know what you are I know what you are" I stopped him and asked what it is he was referring to, and after taking the harassment and attempting to reason with him to understand why he was saying this I paid the fee and left in fear that his heated rage was going to excel into something more than just yelling. WHAT A TERRIBLE PLACE TO STAY; FILTHY, DISRESPECTFUL, DECEITFUL EXCUSE FOR A BAYMONT INN DEFINITIVELY NOT A PLACE I WILL EVER EVER STAY AGAIN!

First, they screwed up our reservation after we had talked to 3 different employees. They tried to over charge us (thank goodness we caught their mistake). Also, they claimed they only have smoking rooms, but posted in the lobby is a sign that says "we have smoking and non-smoking rooms." We were forced to stay in a smoking room! It was not very clean. There were hairs left in the shower. The one good things about this hotel is the free breakfast. You cannot really go wrong with cereal.

I was in town for mid america truck show front desk agent let me check in early at 11 eventhough checkin time was 3pm. I think his name was raj , hotel was sold out the night before he left the desk to find me a clean room on 1st floor. Hotel room was extremely clean, beds were very comfortable and free wifi internet. Many big brand hotels that i have stayed in past have charged me for early check in , pay for wireless internet and breakfast. Baymont had excellent brakfast choices with make your own belgian waffle. Rooms are equipped with micro- fridges that came handy to keep my diabetes medicine. In my books it was a great stay, friendly staff who go out of way to provide excellent service and clean rooms. I will always go back to this hotel whenever i am in town for business and family trip

I booked at this hotel at a terrific price through the Baymont web site. Once I arrived, I was told by the desk clerk that there was a clerical error and the manager told him that I would have to pay the lowest published price. That price happened to be the same as on the sign out front. I had booked the hotel over a month before my travel. They wait until after I drove 7 hours to tell me that they made a clerical error. They did not bother to call me ahead of time. I went ahead and agreed to the new price since figuring the manager would be more reasonable when I explained what happened and I did not have alternatives for the night other than drive around looking for a hotel. The next day when I called the manager, he insisted that I had cancelled my reservations (lets not forget the night desk clerk told me the manager told him there had been a clerical error). His answer to solve the problem was tough luck until I told him I would be writing a review based on my experience. He did offer me $10 off my bill if I did not write a review. He told me if I did write a review he would bill my credit card. Since the $10 is far from what I was quoted, I told him I would rather warn other customers that except his bribe money. Be warned, do not be drawn in by a low price quote! Reviewing other peoples reviews on TripAdvisor, 2 other people had close to the same issue

We stayed at the Baymont Inn for a conference. It was clean, quiet, and a great deal. At $62 a night, we slept more comfortably than other convention goers who were paying 90+ per night.

The Baymont Inn was in a good location for restaraunts and right off the interstate. It was a little noisy due to being so close to the interestate, but not too bad. Earlier reviews said that manager Raj was rude. Raj was very nice to me and the rest of the staff was friendly. I would stay here again.

The place was very clean. It was in a convenient place with a quiet neighborhood. The manager was nice but not too friendly. He could have smile a little more and acted like he cares about his customers. Other than that I would say it was a good place to stay and would recomend it to friends. We are going back.

The owner/manager is rude and will charge you for things you don't agree to. Then he will refuse to give you your money back!

Raj was very rude and lied about a reservation that was made and cancelled and then charged me anyway for a room that I never reserved even though the travel agent talked to him personally.
