Wonderful Experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/24/09
When my daughter and I walked into the lobby for check-in, we were greeted by a BIG "Welcome Home! " The greeter was extremely friendly and knowledgable about the resort. All of the staff were so cheerful and you could not help but smile with all of their smiles staring back at you! Beach club is so convenient to Epcot! We walked to Epcot and took a boat to The Studios. That is a wonderful change from having to ride the buses all of the time. Each time we left and came back we were welcomed with BIG smiles. I guess at Disney Resorts you really do get what you pay for-we will spend the extra and go back soon!

Disney Beach Club was OK - But Nothing Magical
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/27/08
Positives: + Hotel is well-maintained & clean + Room was ok + Pools were very nice Negatives: - Had multiple interactions with Disney Staff and overall experience was horrible - Food was way overpriced (but edible) - Hotel is massive - possibly too large - lots of walking - Transportation to the parks was aweful - took forever to get around Overall: = Did not return value for the money spent to stay there = Was not magical - no added value to staying on Disney property

My favorite hotel
By Manders, 04/07/08
I adore the Beach Club. First, the proximity to Epcot & MGM is phenomenal. It's so freeing to be able to walk to either park if you'd like, and not have to wait on transportation! Second, the pool! Stormalong Bay is an amazingly large sand-bottom private water park even better than Blizzard Beach! Third, I've never been disappointed in the service, cleanliness, size of room, or appointments. I've stayed in Beach Club rooms with several other people, and have never felt cramped. The small balconies are lovely and sometimes provide a view of IllumiNations, and the in-suite mini fridges are great for leftovers & snacks. On my last visit (in October 2007), I was pleasantly surprised to find that the Beach Club was now offering activities for guests at several times a day. Yoga in the mornings, movies at night, and towel animal classes during the day! Be warned that it can be quite a walk from the elevators to your room (and it seems longer at the end of a long day in the park). There is no food court, but I think the nearness of the Epcot World Showcase makes up for it. And if nothing there strikes your fancy, you can always head across the lake to the Boardwalk!

It's just ok
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/29/08
The Y & BC is very lovely though could us a tad bit of a rehab (drapes, bedding, lobby chairs, etc). Pool is by far the best on Disney property. The food selection is slim, there is no food court, Beaches & Cream is extremely small, Cape May Cafe Character breakfast was a big disappointment having been to Chef Mickey's, lacked 1/2 the food options that Chef Mickey's offered. The majority of the staff were pleasant. However, I found that most guests and some staff here were really rude. I guess they thought they were the only people paying money to stay here. I just don't want to be surrounded by snobs. We prefer the Boardwalk or the Caribbean Beach Resort, both are fantastic! Can't wait to see the new pool at the CBR!

Fantastic
By Kevin F, 02/29/08
Being from New England, this is the best representation I have seen in a resort trying to re-create Cape Cod. The decor is amazing. The pool is easily the best pool on Disney Property. It has sand bottoms and multiple kinds of smaller pools. The pool slide is the biggest and longest out of any Disney pool. The resort is located at probably the best place to be located. You are able to walk to the Boardwalk and Epcot (via International Gateway). I don't suggest walking to the Disney Hollywood Studios, a little to far for my tastes. But the boats get you there fast enough. The rooms are fine, nothing really that special besided the nice themeing.

Disney Beach & Yacht Club Resorts are AWESOME for kids
By Paul, 02/08/07
The Disney Beach Club Resort was a great place to stay. The room was very nice and acomodating. There was a slider out to a nice little deck and grassy lawn and then just steps to the beach. The staff were professional and fun. The pool was absolutely amazing! The food was great. The location awesome. From our little patio we could walk 100 yards and were at the gate to Epcot. The Beach Club Resort is a great place to take the family and have a fun filled vacation. The kids will love the place!

This resort was ALOT of fun!
By A Yahoo! User, 11/18/06
The Disney Beach Club Resort was a great place to stay. The room was very spacious and comfortable. It had a sliding door that walked out to a nice little veranda then onto the lawn and 35 steps to the beach. The staff were professional and fun. The pool was absolutely enormous, I mean endless...like an ocean...and it even had sand in it, and its own BEACH-in the pool. The pool wrapped all around the place with Jacuzzi's tucked in here and there among the rocks. A fun water slide for kids. There was a separate smaller pool more for if you just wanted to swim laps. The other beach was really soft warm sand, of course on a man made lake, that went for miles. We rented a little power boat big enough for two people to sit in and went all the way down the little intracoastal (on disney property) you could go all the way to MGM, past the other Disney resorts. The food was great. The location awesome. From our little patio we could walk 100 yards and were at the gate to Epcot. We have a Pass to all the Disney Resorts and saw them all. If you are looking for the best Roller Coasters I would have to rate Universal Studios Duelling Dragons as the best in Orlando. The Beach Club Resort is THE PLACE to take the family and have a fun filled vacation. The kids will love the place!

Just OK
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/14/06
Postives: - Pools and waterslides are awesome! - Excellent Location - Enjoy a nice view of the nightly Epcot fireworks on the hotels beach. Negatives: - Room not ready upon arrival - Room service not up to par - they seemed very rushed. Left trash, extra pillow cases and so on everyday. - CROWDED! - Not enough restaurant choices in the hotel and expect to wait awhile as well.
