Four Good Nights in Lille

We had four nights in this hotel, the staff are polite friendly and professional and will do anything they can to make you welcome. We had a large room good bed and facilities within the room the bathroom was large and well designed. Evening meal menu is a little limited but the quality of the food is very good. Breakfast there is every thing to choose from cereals to egg and bacon. I fail to see how anyone cannot enjoy this hotel. Lille is a fun place on a weekend. Near the Opera house is Leffe Cafe good place for a meal and a drink to watch life go by

A haven in Lille

The stunningly imaginative restoration and conversion of this convent into a hotel is a credit to those who had the courage to make it happen. A tough act to follow with the realities of running an hotel but despite the comments from Kily of Orange County, California - who can't spell - this really is the ideal spot to stay in Lille. Just away from the bustle of the centre, overlooking a stretch of water and within a short walk of the Bois de Boulogne, it's a haven to return to after a day's sightseeing in Lille. We found the food excellent and the service unobtrusive. John
