Rude Management, Concrete Mattresses
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/17/09
Not even close to being worth the $55 I paid for the room, and if you have any complaints, management has no interest in resolving them. (A refund is completely out of the question.)
The carpet was dirty, the mattress was harder than a sidewalk, and when I explained that I don't sleep well on extra-firm mattresses and asked for my money back, they kept showing me more and more rooms containing mattresses with about the same rigid firmness. They even managed to insult me -- "I've never had this complaint. Maybe you just shouldn't go away from home."
I finally found a so-so mattress at a nearby hotel they also owned, but the next morning, about an hour before checkout, my bathroom ran out of toilet paper and I stepped into the hall to request more from the person who was cleaning the rooms. The same guy who'd shown me endless rooms the night before refused to replace the roll, saying, "You're checking out today anyway."
I took a final shower and, rather than leave behind the unopened bars of soap and other items that I didn't really need, I departed with all the free stuff my suitcase could carry. Never again!
