Central to everything in San Juan & Convenient from Airport

The beach front cafe at the Courtyard was one of the highlights of our entire caribbean trip. The live music was very good inside, creating a festive ambiance. A better still, the food outside at the beachfront cafe was outstanding; the bar tender was quite a find for Courtyard - his own, as yet unnamed, various tropical drinks were to die for & the service was top notch.
On the downside for this hotel, its close proximity to the airport and apparent poor noise insulation made for a very long night. The airport is immediately to the south of the hotel on the other side of the highway and the noise was enough to wake the dead. We were on the north side of the hotel in an ocean view room and we wondered why there were double sliding doors, until the first plane took off when we were in the room. Even with both sliding glass doors shut the rolling thunder kept us up.
But with all things being equal (particularly the lodging prices at other hotels in the area, and despite what we at first thought was an expensive rate at Courtyard for the size of the room), we'd still consider staying here again (just be sure to bring ear protection=)
