BEST WESTERN University Inn, Murray

On the second day... The "breakfast" was doughnuts. the give you some bread,bagles, other junk to toast... decided to go to Mc Donalds. The Carpet Fresh that I had to go buy did not last the whole night. This is suppose to be a nonsmoking room, but it stinks smoking or non smoking. There are strange brown stains on the chairs in the room... dont sit on the chairs here. I had to stay here due to my Job paying for the room... I will let them know how nasty it is... hopefully it will not happen again. This is not the first time they have put me here, the last time was nasty too, I did not say anything thought it was just a bad room... I think they all are. And again the WIFI is slower then dial up... Day two and the signal is still 1 to 2 bars. Stay Away... or bring air freshener and cleaning supplies.

They had no extra pillows. I can handle that. But when we needed extra towels?(Because they only had TWO in our double room) They had none! I have never heard of such a thing. Housekeeping made the beds and that was all. The tables weren't wiped, the dead bugs (and there were plenty) were still on the floor in the bathroom, the ice bucket was still sitting there with the melted ice in it, etc. Also, the sink and the tub would not drain. Very disappointing. The only good thing I can think of is the location. This hotel is near everything in Murray.

We visted this establishment recently for a College graduation and traveled all night to get there. Needless to say we were dead tired. It was about 6:30 in the morning, and we knew that we couldn't check in yet. But I thought I'd give it a try. I explained to the desk clerk our situation and she made our problem, her problem. Even though the hotel was crowded, she hunted around and found a room that was not being used. She let all of us crash there and get ready for the graduation and didn't charge us extra. They also accomodated our desire to be in an upstairs room as well. What other hotel would do that? The room was tidy and later I asked if we could just assign ourselves to that room instead of changing to our booked rooms. No problem, we were set up quickly. This changed a very quick and stressful trip into a quick and enjoyable one, thanks to this helpful clerk. If only other businesses were as helpful.
