Econo Lodge North, Lancaster

the rooms are large and clean, staff was very friendly and gave us good directions. coming from paris france we did not know the area but the staff helped us alot. we stayed three nights and had a great stay.

but the continential breakfast was very poor. Donuts, not very healthy.

we like this hotel because it is located right off the main road. we felt very safe and the hotel was very nice and clean. they have a view of a real amish farm in the back. the staff was helpful in giving us directions to sight and sound entertainment center.

we stayed here because they have access to the new indoor waterpark down the street. the kids loved the waterpark and we will stay here again. the hotel wasnt that expensive and was nice and clean. staff was friendly specially the night clerk.

price was very affordable not like the other hotels in the area which were charging double price. we got a friendly smile upon check in from the clerk and got a clean room. thats all that mattered to me. we felt very safe and the parking lot was well lit. hotel is right off the main road so you didnt feel lonely either.

im not a big econolodge fan but this hotel changed my mind. when we arrived the staff greeted us with a smile and the rooms are very spacious and for the price you cant say no. ask for the room facing the amish farm. it is a great view of a real farm. we will let our friends know to stay here.

we were passing through lancaster and it was getting late so we decided to stay a night and found this hotel located right off the main strip. very nice and clean hotel and the price was reasonable. they even offered coffee and donuts in the morning. nothing fancy put for the price who can complain. we will stay again when in town again.

We just visited lancaster and stayed at this very clean and affordable hotel. They had a great view of the amish farms and were very close to the outlet stores. Look forward to returning in the fall

We arrived yesterday morning ( July 19th) and first thing I noticed was a bad smell.. like body odor, right inside the front door. The area where the continental Breakfast was did not look clean and very very small.. so don't expect much...Employee behind desk was very nice but don't ask where anything is because they don't know much. Could not check in our room because we arrived early which I understood and had no problem with that at all. We went about our shopping all day and arrived back around 7:30 in which the smell was still there and up the steps to the 2nd floor.. Our room was clean and the air conditoner worked well. Shower was good.. but the bed cover, the one between the sheet and bedspread looked like the wool one my mother kept for over 30 years... they definately need to update the rooms with either paint and new bed coverings.. but the worst was when we were trying to sleep.. everytime anyone went out of their room, their door slammed and then our door did the same.. the doors on the rooms are old and need to have new ones that fit tight.. they did have nice locks on them to feel safe but that did not stop our door from shaking when others down the hallway were opend and closed all night long... I will pay a little more and stay elsewhere.....

We stayed last weekend at the EconoLodge North in Lancaster,Pa. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. The free breakfast was nice. However the best was that we were able to book a Waterpark package that included one night stay and 4 passes to the Caribbean Indoor Waterpark just a block away. The waterpark was wonderful and we had a blast. We definately will be back to Lancaster and will be staying at this hotel. The rates are a bargin !!!!
