Bullhead Lodge on the River DBA, Bullhead City

Great place to stay, good price, river view. We stayed in a river view suite with our small dog. The place is pretty clean. I have seen much dirtier hotels in laughlin, for sure. Awesome view, quiet and the rooms are very good size, with your own balcony. Only a short drive to casinos. The woman at the front desk was very nice and friendly. Reading the other reviews I see some people just love to complain about anything. This place is not the ritz carlton, its a cool, comfortable and affordable hotel. We are definitely going back.

We were very surprised at the cleanliness of our room. No amenities (Bare essentials) for a standard room but the price was right. Overall a great place to sleep by the river as a stop over while traveling. We were very comfortable. Next time will book room on the river.

We had a pleasant stay in Feb, 2008. We had a riverview suite. The room was very clean and comfortable. The furniture and carpeting appeared new. Plenty of parking, off the road far enough that it was quiet at night. Am very surprised at the negative remarks. Were they at the same place? We plan on returning there again and will recommend it to our friends.

We origanally ordered a regular room for the night and was upgraded to a suit which had a balcony over looking the river an extra living room and kitchen and it was quite and peaceful and I slept like a baby. And at no extra charge. I have refered my friends and they will be joining us next year. We go to Laughlin every year for a bowling ternament and are rooms are paid for. But it is difficult to get an extra night because of all the action going on that same weekend. So I looked online for a hotel as close to Laughlin as possible. I was very hesitant to book a room at a hotel I had never seen or stayed at before but when I arrived I was very pleasantly suprised and very happy. We will be back in May of 2008 and every year after that. Thank you for a wonderful stay in your beautifull city.

I am reading these reviews and wondered if we stayed at the same place. We had a ground floor river view suite. It was old but not dirty. We had our dog with us and the room did not smell like urine. For the price and the fact that we can have our dog with us, we are staying there again this year. I did not notice a problem with the parking lot, had clean towels daily, the room cleaned every other day. I thought it was fine. I think some people are used to five star hotels and this motel does not fall into that category. Carol Fink

will never stay here again. it looks like the projects. trashy parking lot, noisy, smelly and rude customer service! carpets were nasty and smelled like pet urine! horrible horrible! id sooner sleep in my car then sleep there again probably should have but there wasn't enough room for everyone in my car. completely unsatisfactory! these conditions were not good enough for a dog!

First of all don't go there you'll regret, it has two little beds no toilet paper, or toweles to go swimming. Horrible view of the river, you'd be better off buying your own pillows and blankets the dirt lot next to it is really better, smells awful strong odor only reason why we slept there was because my wife messed up on booking the hotel cause she said it looked nice on the the timeshare website.

We visited Bullhead City, AZ on our way to Las Vegas, NV at the end of July. We were very satisfied with this motel. He had a River Suite with a balcony over-looking the Colorado River. It was a gorgeous view. We would recommend this motel to our friends and family!

I was a bit leary that our room would be a total dirt pile after reading negative feedback off Yahoo Travel. I was very pleased with the room, furniture could of been a little cleaner but other than that everything was clean. We will be staying here again rather than the casino in Laughlin. The price is excellent and your not cramped into a single room.. There is huge bedroom and a nice size living room. Loved the view of river & View of Pool. One thing about pool is that there was alot of kids, but well behaved. Walking distance to Safeway, Black Bear Cafe. There is a public launch about a 5-10 minute drive. The only negative I see with this Place is parking for boats.. First come so could be a problem when hotel is sold out.

I loved the view. the hotel has been going through alot of changes. new carpets, new beds and they are still remodeling more rooms they now have mini suites. I have stayed in both a suite and a mini suite and would recamend this hotel to everyone. I will be back every year.
