Holiday Stay
Our family had planned to go to Ohio to visit relatives for Christmas. This included my son, his wife and 2 daughters who were starting on ahead Dec 23, 2004. His wife does not work out of the home. She home schools their 2 daughters. Money was tight and they would have traveled all the way through. I made reservations for them at this Inn. My husband, daughter and I left about 6-7 hours behind them. We did not have a reservation. We pushed on to get through Charlotte that night and ended up at the same Days Inn. The people were so nice and friendly. They happened to have a room right next to my son which they gave to us.
They next morning (Christmas eve) they had an excellent continental breakfast. My husband usually wants a full breakfast, however this satisfied him. They were there constantly refilling whatever was used. The only issue was there was no table to sit down and eat so we just took it back to our rooms and ate there.
Sometimes people get grumpy around the holidays because they have to work. This was just he opposite and the other customers seemed very satisfied also.
