Reasonable price, but lower your expectations!

This was our second visit to this Radisson this year. On our first visit, a few months ago, we were placed on a lower floor, and it wasn't great with peeling wallpaper, and a not too comfortable bed. We had to pay for bottled water in the room, and few extra amenities, beyond free parking.
I was surprised to learn that this was a former Days's Inn. It is on a commercial waterfront, and not much of a view from any vantage point. In fact, when you drive to this location, you have to pass through a run down construction area that makes you feel a bit unsafe. It is no wonder they have shuttle van service, but it can be unreliable, especially when you want a pick-up back to the hotel. We waited an hour for a return trip back to the hotel from church services on a Sunday morning, and we had to make 3 calls to the front desk. The driving distance to the hotel from the church was less than 7 minutes away. The driver forgot where he left us off that morning, went back to the wrong church, and forgot about us.
On our second visit, we did get a room on the 5th floor, and had to use a special elevator key for the "Executive Room area" on the 5th and 6th levels. The room was as small as our previous room, but it did have a jacuzzi, and this time the bottled water was free. The bed felt uncomfortable and sagged toward the center. They are supposed to put new beds in later.
Once again,on this second visit, the shuttle van service was good getting us to our destination, but very slow for pick-up back to the hotel. I would not trust it at night. We were offered a free breakfast the next morning in compensation for the very late pick-up, but we were leaving that day. We were offered extra points on our Radisson card.
The front desk is fairly attentive and understanding, and the house staff are kind. From what I have heard and read from other reviewers, the rooms could use a major face-lift. It is a fair place to stay if you can get a good discount through an agency, but it is not a three star hotel. It is just adequate to meet basic needs.
