Comfort Suites I15 Miramar, San Diego

Dear Aresdirect.com, Not that you care but I thought I would give you a little feed back on the Quality Suites San Diego and your service. In short I will NEVER use your service or stay in another Quality Suites again. Lets start with the hotel. It's a dirty, broken down, dive. I ordered a room with 2 queen beds, but got a king with a sleeper sofa. In the room the toilet was broken and filled with . . . . well I let you imagine what it was filled with. When I complained the lady at the front desk said she couldn't give me a discount because I had booked online. She also told me that the rooms booked online are the leftovers, their "regular" customers get first choice. So the fact that I asked for two queens didn't matter a bit to her. After a couple of days the hotel was able to get a room with two beds. After a long, hard day and with another hard day to coming up I was looking forward to going to bed. But instead I got a room with broken air conditioning. After waiting a while for the cooler to work I called the front desk. They sent up the "kid" who poked around in the ceiling, making a big mess of ceiling tile debris on the floor, and declared the air conditioning reset. About an hour later, the room as hot as ever, they moved us to yet another room. This new room was a worse than the first, but the air conditioning did work. The furniture was broken, the walls dirty, and there was an air of disrepair everywhere. OK, now to your service. " Early check-out: No refunds will be given for checking out early." That says it all. I will NEVER use your service again. Period. If I could have gotten a refund I would have moved to a new hotel and felt a little better about what happened, but I'm not in the position to pay for two rooms. Also because the hotel only gives your service the leftovers why even ask what the customer wants? I've told all my friends, family and coworkers about the experience. I know they will take it into consideration the next time they travel or recommend a place to stay. Dean Glanville
