La Place Rendez-Vous, Fort Frances

The room was dirty (we found someone's sock under the bed!). The balcony was filthy - even though we had paid extra for lakeside - it was June and nothing had been cleaned and there were cobwebs on the chairs etc. There was no way we could sit out on it. We had forgotten our toothpaste and had to pay $3.25 for approx. a 2 oz. tube. (Higher end places provide this free of charge.) We've travelled every province in Canada, about 20 of the States and 12-14 European countries - this was our WORST experience!! Make alternate arrangements at the Super 8 if you can - the view of the lake is not worth the outrageous price charged for a less-than-adequate room!
