we're planing to stay again
By JamesG, 11/08/09
We stayed twice in Oct. 2009 on our was to SanDiego. The only problem we had was the A/C sounded like it was going to self-destruct. Very noisey. The lady at the counter was courtious and the room was clean. We're planing to stay in Dec.2009 on our way to Las Vegas. We won't need the A/C then. LOL.

Never in my life will I go there again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/25/06
My stay was the worst stay I have ever had at a motel before. I have a number of things to say. First of all as soon as I walked through the door, I could see marks all over the windows as if they had not been cleaned for months. Also the floor was covered with old dirt. I was served by a little snobby lady who was very mean and not very helpful at all. I was with my husband and my daughter who is allergic to pets so I asked for a room in which no pets had been in before. The clerk told me she had one of those that was non smoking and had two beds so I took the room. As i walked through the room I could smell a rusty smell and the carpet was a little torn and dirty. The bedspread looked like it had never been cleaned before either and when i went to go turn the air conditioner on, it sounded like a herd of elephants were outside your door. But what bothered me the most was that there were dog hairs in the bed and on the corners around the carpet. Almost immediately my daughter started to cough and wheeze and I knew that we had been given a pet room. I immediately went to the front desk and told the clerk that i had been given a pet room. She refused to admit that it was her fault and at the end of it all, she had a little tantrum and decided she did not want to help us. By that time I was very unhappy and decided to go to a motel down the street by the truck stop. There they had non smoking rooms which pets had not been in and i was very happy

Clean, but somewhat noisy
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/16/06
I've stayed here twice. No complaints with cleanliness in the rooms I had. My other comment is that this place is noisy! Loud air conditioners, and you'll definitely know if the neighbors have the TV or shower on. Also, some traffic noise -- probably worst on the second floor rooms that face the interstate. If all you need is a place to sleep without spending too much, and don't need other amenities, this motel is fine -- especially for sound sleepers, or perhaps for older folks whose hearing isn't quite what it used to be. Otherwise, you might want to bring your earplugs!

ONLY IF YOU REALLY WANT THE ABSOLETE CHEAPEST!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/07/06
THE BATHROOM WAS NOT VERY CLEAN, BED COMFORTERS WERE STAINED/LOOKED UNWASHED, AND WHATEVER YOU DO...DO NOT USE THIER SOAP!!! IT LEAVES A RESIDUE THAT DOES NOT COME OFF FOR DAYS! FEELS LIKE YOU HAVE SOAP ON YOUR HANDS STILL! BETTER TO SPEND $17 MORE AND STAY AT THE WILLOW INN ACCROSS THE STREET WHERE YOU GET A KING SIZED BED, FRIDGE, MICROWAVE AND REMODELED ROOMS!
