We just spent the night here as a last minute trip and just have to say that the 2 guys in the front office were so very nice and helpful. We got one of the rooms that had new beds and they were very comfortable. The rooms were larger than a lot of places that we have stayed in and very clean. For the money it was well worth what we paid and will definitely keep it in mind when we come back. We were actually surprised to get such a good view of the ocean and the pool was very nice. .

staff o.k.if you want clean towles you have to go ask for them,unless you want to waite til 5:30 or so,then the maid will just open the door without knocking.(hope you have your clothes on,i didnt)they told us this was on the beach,they lied.the room was clean,but smelled molded.the sounds from other rooms was awful.

check in was good, very friendly staff!!! however check out they messed my debit card up (lucky for me it was only $6.00) all over a LOCAL 46 second phone call that originally was $3, the desk clerk "tried" to credit it back and double charged me and once I called to have my debit card corrected it was a mess and was told I would only get a credit of $5 b/c local calls were $.50. Rooms were very clean. The sign out front says heated pool & jacuzzi - the pool IS NOT! THIS HOTEL IS NOT ON THE BEACH yes the beach is across the street but not much of a view due to the hotel across the street.

This Days Inn is located across the main street by the beach. The staff was welcoming and very friendly. At check in we were not given a parking pass to display while on the property's small parking lot and later found out that the cheerleading convention participants staying there had not adhered to the rule of "one room, one car". This was troublesome and left us waiting in our car until someone left the lot on several occasions over the weekend. The room was a handicapped accessible, non-smoking room that was fit with fresh linens and clean but you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. The indoor-outdoor style carpet was stained in many places. Going barefoot on it felt like it had a coating of some sort and our feet were dirty afterwards. The mattresses need to go to the landfill. One had a divet in the middle that put it's two adult sleepers literally hanging onto the sides for dear life and the other mattress was like sleeping on a pancake. It looked fluffy but sank like a rock when sat or laid down upon. Sleeping was a bit of a problem due to the excessive late night noise from the other residents. Children and adults alike being extremely loud, running, screaming from floor to floor until past 3:30 a.m. added to this "Please tell me this isn't happening" weekend. I am not sure if there is someone on staff to periodically patrol the grounds anytime to ensure the safety and well being of the paying residents. Speaking of safety the bath tub had no grip strips and was very slippery when showering. The staff on hand couldn't have been more accommodating and hard working. Check in and check out were handeled efficiently. The breakfast offered was adequate and kept stocked. The dining area was kept clean. Wi-Fi is available but slow. I feel that the amount charged for this room was not on par with the comfort or quality that I have come to expect from Days Inn. I would consider staying here again though if the above listed problems were dealt with and I could re-affirm my faith in the Days Inn brand.

My daughter accidentally locked us out of our vehicle, with my purse in the vehicle. I called the front desk to ask for an extended check-out time because help was on the way but would not arrive until 1:00-1:30 PM. They refused because it was against their policy!! So now, we are sitting outside of the room, with our belongings-my mother, myself, and my daughter until help arrives!! Okay, so I have been in the hotel industry for several years, particularly working as a guest representative (front desk). There are exceptions to the rules!! That's what customer service is about!! It's not like I asked for a free night. But apparently, not at this hotel. Therefore, we have no money to eat (because my purse is in the vehicle) and we are sitting OUTSIDE THE DOOR OF THE ROOM WE STAYED IN, waiting on help!! And this is their OFF season-DECEMBER!! I will NEVER stay in this hotel again! It is unnacceptable of people that are so unappreciative of their guests.

the rooms are old and need updated.the patio where the pool is needs cleaned.basically the hotel needs updated.we were in room 205 outside was the pool.people were swimming at 3:30 am in the morning.made lots of noise.the cont. breakfast was very good.well stocked at all times.also the location was close to the beach.we have stayed in many hotels from pa. to fla.this one probably rates low on the list.altho you get what you pay for.

We arrived on Wednesday, our room was ready for check-in on time. Courteous employees at the front desk. The cleaning crew did a great job and were also very friendly. The sign outside says heated pool/jacquzi. The jacquizi was heated, the pool was not. I had to use my lap top on the outside balcony, which was ok for my use, but if I had to do business, not so good. They do have 1 computer on the first floor with internet access. Hotel is 1 block from the beach and because we had a room on the backside, it was wonderful, from my balcony I saw the beach and overlooked the pool. It would have helped if both jacquzi's were working. People who got in the jacquizi stayed in it for long periods at a time and I was only able to get in 1 time in 3 days. The location is on 11th street and most activities and good resturants are down around 19th-22nd street. The trolly cost $1.00 but doesn't run until around 5:30pm. Our overall experience was a Great one. Great coffee shop around the corner. Great resturant for breakfast Waffletown between 9th and 10th street. The Days Inn offers continental breakfast, although we did not partake. Stay away from the all you can eat breakfast at the beach, for two people with juice and coffee $32.00. Captain George's on Laskin road, 2 people all you can eat seafood buffet yuck for the price $67.00, and food was not hot. Overall experience was between good and excellent for the price we paid. Kudos to the entire staff, day and evening for a job well done. Check-out was a breeze. Enjoy your stay. We did. 1st vacation in 3 years.

The only problem was that the toilet bowl kept making noises all through the day and night. Other than that, great location and a nice room.

We went in February.We enjoyed our stay. The room was very clean and was cleaned every day. The free breakfast was good, had a nice selection of food. We didn't have much interaction with the staff, except during check in and check out, and that was done efficiently. This is not oceanfront, but beach is right across the street. We would stay there again.
