Grove Motor Inn, Spruce Grove

To begin begin with you are greeted by satans sister who begrudgingly checks you in, because you are interupting her fight on he phone with another guest while she's watching TV. Once you get to your room you will enjoy the sweet aromas of the most recent (dozen) or so oil workers or other transient guests that have helped add to the really uncomfortable feeling you will definitely have. The bar is filthy and filled with undesirable looking people. The kitchen looks discusting. The staff throughout are all very similar to the front desk staff. I slept on top of the bed with by jacket as a pillow, fully clothed.

The place has just been renovated. The bed was great, slept like a baby.

That place should be burned. I have stayed in about 500 Hotels in Western Canada and have seen some bad ones. Well I have to say this is the worst. I don't really have allergies, but my eyes were puffy and it felt like there was hair in them. I kept my shoes by the bed so I did not have to step on the carpet. (I think it was carpet) The cleaning staff should be fired, if there is one. I would have left if I wasn't so tired.

The staff was very helpful, food was good and the rooms very comfortable. Great value!! It was nice to find a place that i could eat, sleep and be entertained. Close to everything.

To start with the staff are very rude and the service, if you want to call it that is very bad. This hotel and its owner does not believe he owes anyone a good night sleep, so if you need a hotel that is within reason try anything on the west end of edmonton as these people just do not care..

To begin with, the staff is very rude, the dining lounge is unclean, with the dining room staff pretty much in the same way as the room itself. The kitchen staff should consider washing there uniforms once in awhile. I wouldn't even think about stepping foot in that pool, room was bad enough.

The staff was very unaccommodating and very rude. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, even if you were just traveling though. Horrible, terribly rude staff.
