Excellent Room and Stay

Great location - easy to get to everything, ocean not far, and a quiet location. Room was excellent - roomy, clean (it even smelled clean when you walked in), beds where nice and comfy. Service was quick only complaint was that the breakfast was expensive $15 for breakfast bar, service was friendly though. Check out convenient and time saving.

They have so many dead zone my cell phone didnt work in my room. I also got flea or bed bug bites. I love marriott but this is one I will never visit again;

I WILL GO BACK!!

I spent Thursday, 5-18-05 to Monday 5-22-06 at the Marriott in Torrance, CA. Because I wanted to have visitors, I upgraded my room to a suite and numerous friends who visited enjoyed a wonderful, spacious room in a hotel with fantastic grounds! The staff was WAY more than friendly and helpfull!!! I've visited hotels in Las Vegas, Palm Springs and other locations from California to Texas to Ohio and will have no reservations in referring this hotel to anyone! This hotel is in a central location, close to freeways and very close to wonderful restaurants, stores and malls. There was no noise from other residents there and in the main lobby, we enjoyed the fireplace which was next to a wide screen TV. Breakfast every morning and a 24 hour snack store were a great addition! In the midst of our stay there, one of the front staff people (Maelicia...spelling may be off)... gave us both a hug!! Now, THAT'S a REAL person!! I would have liked an ice machine closer to the room but a hallway and a half walking distance wasn't all that bad. The hotel is in a nice area and I had no problems with visiting any of the numerous stores in the area. I met alot of wonderful people there and never heard any noise, loud talking or music, and never had to worry about safety or comfort. The heater and AC worked wonderfully!!!!!! And the beds gave me one of the best sleeps I've been able to enjoy in a long time. I would recommend this hotel to ANYONE!!!!
