Royal Resort, Zona Hotelera

BEAUTIFUL...QUIET, AND ACCESSBILE TO EVERYTHING. BEACHES WERE CLEAN, UNCROWDED, AND WELL GROOMED. THE FEW CHILDREN THERE WERE WELL-BEHAVED AND QUIET...JUST THE WAY CHILDREN OUGHT TO BE. VIEWS ARE BEAUTIFUL...WHETHER SUNRISE OR SUNSET, EVERYTHING IS IN HARMONY...

I made a reservation for a condo with three months of anticipation for me and my family, when I got there they just told they sold my condo to somebodyelse that will acomodate me at the Royal Mayan, when I was checking in there were like three other people complaining the same they made a reservation in Caribbean and they were sending them to Mayan. They were saying a lot of negative things about The Royal Mayan... When I heard that I just took the phone and made a reservation in other hotel..after three days I call them and ask for my refund they told me they were sorry and just returned my money.

I've been going to Cancun since I was little and we've owned a condo at the Royal Caribbean for years. It's beautiful and everyone goes out of their way to serve you. I would recomend the royal resorts to families, singles, and honeymooners... it's absolutly amazing and there is always plenty to do.

Wow! what a beautiful place to be, all the year around. We'be been in Cancun in December and in June. Perfect weather, warm water, great colors. Will return for sure...can't wait.

The Royal Caribbean was a wonderful place to stay! It was my first visit to Cancun...we went last September. I really don't have anything bad to say about it...the staff was excellent. They were so friendly and helpful, always offering a smile. The rooms were amazing--every room offers a breathtaking view of the turquoise gulf...the patios are HUGE...perfect for sitting at night to watch the moon rise or read a book. It was VERY clean, and the rooms were very luxurious! Lots of space, very comfortable. It was just a short walk to the beautiful beach, where you can enjoy a drink under an umbrella while listening to the waves...and the pools were perfect too! We were able to get any and all information about tours and excursions from the staff at the front desk, and they even booked our events for us! It's family friendly, with activities for all ages each day. You can visit the other Royal Resorts and enjoy their amenities as well. It's also close to shopping and dining, should you decide you want to venture away from the resort (but I wouldn't blame you if you didn't want to!). The only con was that it was nearly impossible to say goodbye to! It was SO hard to leave! If you are traveling to Cancun, I highly recommend this resort. It should be rated much higher than #24 on this list, because it's a fabulous place to stay! I can't wait to go back!

I have visted Cancun three times in the last 5 years. I have stayed at 2 of the Royal Resorts. The Royal Caribbean by far is the best I have stayed in. It is a clean, well kept, and it is a very easy to access around. The servers, maitre d', and front desk help seem like professionals at what task they did. The crew staff has made it seem like a friendly environment. I took my girl friend (which is now my wife) to Cancun for her first time. It has been the great experience for her. Still today she tell her friends " There is no other place like being at one of the Royal Resorts when it comes to hotels and time shares. Cancun is the best place to vacation." We never had a dull moment when we was there.

I loved the Royal Resorts. We stayed 1/2 the week in the Royal Caribbean and 1/2 in the Royal Mayan. It was total luxury! The pools were spacious and the rooms were beautifully decorated and clean. One of my favorite things to do was paint ceramics. The beach front was amazing! The party crowd need look elsewhere because this is a family friendly resort. I highly recommend any of the Royal Resorts!

This resort is of high standard, we went to Cancun for our first time and experienced the best service ever from the staff. The resort is in a great location. Would highly recommend to anyone and everyone!!

The Royal Caribbean Resort was great! We missed our flight to Cancun and had to purchase four airline tickets, so our trip did not start out to well. Upon arrival at the hotel we had excellent service from the airport to the resort. They took care of our every need. The condos were larger than I imagined and very clean. We enjoyed the beach and the pools. All of our sightseeing & transportation was setup by the resort. We really had nothing to worry about. The restaraunt had a Mexican restarant which was very good. Also we had 18 people in our group! Everything was taken care of by the hotel. We enjoyed our trip very much.

These resorts are the best!!! You can truly relax and enjoy, the staff are there to make sure you want for NOTHING. The pools are beautiful. You have great views of the ocean on one side and the lagoon on the other. This place is heaven on earth!! The only thing that I don't like is I can only be there one week a year.
