Albert at Bay Suite Hotel, Ottawa

As a family of three we thought the suite style hotel may be a good bet for our short two night visit. We visited on Canada Day last year and we were very pleased with our decision. We booked the "You Deserve It package" and the "Byward Market package." These were definitely worth the money and the apartment style suite was wonderful for space. We made good use of the kitchen facilities even though we were only there for two days. It is a bit of a walk to get to any of the local sights but a pretty cheap cab ride alternatively. One caution... the underground parking garage has height restrictions so we had to park our SUV across the street at a parking lot but the manager re-imbursed us for the cost for two days... We didn't use any of the other services provided by the hotel but for a long or short stay with a family...I really recommend this hotel. Oh and eat at the Bay Street Bistro - it was child friendly and...the Mesquite lamb is to die for!!
