Travelodge Toronto North York, Toronto

Absolutely loved my stay. I was there for 10 days, and experienced an effecient, friendly and trustworthy staff. The accommodations were very clean and done in a timely manner. The location was close to major intersecions, but far enough that you never heard anything. The cost of the room was minimal in comparison to the amenities, services and staff. Would highly recommend this hotel!

I liked: the very clean and neat room, the friendly staff, the good & reason- ably priced Perkins Family Restau- rant on the premises, the fast elevator (I was on the 6th floor). I disliked: the somewhat distant location from downtown. Well, I got this three nights hotel stay in conjunction with a roundtrip airfare from New Orleans to Toronto ($604.17 after fees, taxes) on Yahoo Travel, so I don't know what the actual room rate was. The hotel is in a very quiet and somewhat remote part of town. It was easy to walk to Finch Street and take the bus downtown. I walked down Finch to the library and Tim Horton's (donuts). All in all, a good place to stay. Probably moreso for those driving their own cars. R.J.T.
