Yet another great Hyatt hotel
By ,
I stayed at this hotel this past weekend with my wife and kids and had a great time! Our room was great (in the new tower), the gym/pool were nice, free weekend parking, good selection of restaurants, close to everything, and excellent service. We'll definitely be staying there again, and would recommend it to anyone.

New addition is wonderful.
By ,
Great rooms, seemed a little bit bigger then the main tower. Clean, I guess that is because it is new! Service is excellent. We have stayed here many times, but I notice the service is getting better every time we stay. Valet is bit high, but there is not much parking available, so it has to do. Would highly recommend this Hyatt.

Not for the price
By ,
We stayed in an Executive Suite, there was a stain on chair, and the overall smell and appearance was just old. Room service didn't have several of the items we wished to order from the menu and it just felt a little like we were bothering them when we called. On the other hand the door service and the front desk service was very nice. The view was beautiful!

Our wedding night
By ,
We came to Hyatt right after our wedding, and we absolutely loved it! Hyatt is located in the middle of everything and a little bridge takes you from the hotel to restaurants, stores and a movie theater. In addition there is an optional complementary breakfast (floors 23 and 24). We enjoyed our memorable stay here, and we are planning to come back for our 1 year anniversary!!! The night at HYATT would make a great wedding gift for any couple!

Best hotel stay ever!
By ,
Elegant, clean, and the best room service food I have ever had! The fish tacos were outstanding and were worth staying in for, even though the location offers much to do elsewhere.

Money Grubbers
By ,
The hotel is nice, and the staff curteous. However, I was annoyed by this already over-priced hotel charging me $15 dollars a day for the privelege of parking in their garage. There is no on street parking available, so the hotel is quoting you a price for the room and then jacking it up with this hidden fee. That, along with the lack of free internet access and even a fee to call a "800" number astounded me. I was afraid to look at the pleasant decor for fear there would be a fee.

poor front desk skills
By ,
Recently we reserved to stay at this hotel but upon arrival found the hotel to be closed and without power in one of Seattle's recent wind storms. When traveling several hours to reach your destination, one would wonder why the hotel (who did have their computers going) wouldn't have phoned to customers traveling to alert them. The front desk workers were not skilled at handling this kind of emergency and were not versed in how to deal with customers. To their credit they did let us use their phone to try and find another hotel with power butI was very disappointed in a hotel that we have enjoyed in the past. In the tourism industry people skills are paramount and this group of workers, possibly tired from the outages need improvement on how to help their customers in a stressful situation. While they didn't know when the power was going to be restored , I think it was purely a business decision to hold onto peoples' reservations and not lose business in case the power did come back on. I will not return as they did nothing to reassure customers or make any gestures to make inroadswith customers.
