Description

The Comfort Suites Raleigh offers two-room suites at moderate prices. Located in north Raleigh, the hotel lies approximately five miles from the Raleigh Civic Center and State Capitol. Recreational facilities include a fitness room and an outdoor pool set in an attractive courtyard. Each morning, guests receive a complimentary breakfast with their room rate. Mon-Thurs 5:30-8:00 PM, guests are invited to attend the evening social reception for complimentary drinks and snacks. While there is not a full service restaurant inside the hotel, there are plenty of offsite dining destinations nearby. Guest services include video rentals, complimentary parking, safe deposit boxes, and a free morning newspaper. The hotel allows pets, but restrictions apply. If you plan to bring your pet, please contact the hotel before your arrival to confirm the current pet policy. There are 114 suites on three floors. Business class suites with upgraded amenities are available. Standard amenities include a coffeemaker, three telephones, a dataport, microwave, mini-refrigerator, two televisions, MP3 player, iron, ironing board, a sleeper sofa, and an alarm clock radio.

Great value!! We stay here at least once a month while visiting family in the area. Staff is great, expecially the breakfast attendant! Highly recommed!

Disappointed with the Hotel

I am very disappointed with the hotel in general. The rugs in the rooms and hallways were filthy. We had several families (10-11) visit for my daughters graduation and the breakfast is not the same after I have been bragging about the hotel - I was embarrassed on what my family saw when they arrived there. We have several rooms that were fested with ants and roaches - they had to move to other rooms. I made complaints to the Operations Manager and the person that checked us in was very unprofessional and rude. I have been coming to this hotels since 2007 and back this year and will never go back again and would not advise family to go there again. I will find a better hotel for the price that we paid and I spent (3) days there and so did other family members. It was a close hotel to the school and had convenient areas for shopping. Also the rooms had not been cleaned around the tv's, counters near the sink and refrigerator. Stains on the sheets, the hallways smell, etc. To sum it all up - the place needs a major renovation. Not sure if upper management has changed - but this hotel needs a major inspection and clean-up.

The Breakfast is not like it use to be!!!!

Wow, I chose this hotel based on the breakfast. The cook that was previously there when I was on business in Dec 2010 is not longer there. He ws always friendly and would look for suggesstions and ideals to make the selection even better. Iappreciated that. I would rave to my co-workers on the eggs... Everyone I spoke with agreed; the eggs and breakfast were the driving force in them staying there. Everyone on the hosipitality crew is friendly and professional. The manager appeared really stuck on herself. idk, maybe that was me... The service 2 rating is due to the change in management that has shown in a negative way and the Location 2 is due to it being in an area that is not the best eye appealing spot to be when you are on business.

I would like to say this hotel is the absolute best the customer service is outstanding-the staff goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is great. I will always stay at Comfort Suites North Raleigh when visiting Raleigh. The Best!!

Awesome customer service

This place was excellent! Our family of 6 stayed in a king suite with a seperate bedroom and living room. The vanity area was seperate from the shower area. We like that. 2 tvs. One in bedroom and one in living room. Fridge and microwave in room. The beds were very comfortable as were the pillows. At first the a/c was not working but a call to the front desk fixed that in 5 minutes. Althea fixed us right up by changing our room. We got there in time for the Managers Reception. Meatballs in sauce, veggie platter, chips, fruit, soft drinks, cheese cubes, and fruit juices. We then went for dinner right next door at a Chinese Buffet restaurant. The exercise room received a good review from my husband. The outdoor pool was perfect for the kids. The computer was right near the front desk and worked well. There was no printer hooked up to it though. The Operations Manager Ben Moore was friendly as was Vito the Bartender. The staff was friendly and so very helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

I work in a Quality Inn and chose to stay at this hotel because its convenient location and the fact that it offered suites. I was very pleased with the hotel and the staff and will be staying here again within the next month. I cannot wait till the pool opens up this year because the pool area is very beautiful and has a very nice decor. The staff was so friendly and helpful and did not bother or disturb me during my last stay which is always a good thing. I recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the Raleigh area! this hotel definatley gets 5 stars from me and that is unusual for any hotel I stay at, there was nothing that I could find wrong with this hotel and that means a lot since I also work in a hotel from the same chain

This is a wonderful hotel to stay at. Everyone at the front desk is wonderful. I travel often to various hotels and this is one of my favorite hotels.
