Good Place, but I feel I got short-sheeted

This motel is in an odd but fine location. Clean rooms but with a few problems. Upon arrival, I was told that I was a "no-show" as an introduction to the motel by the women desk-clerk. I explained and offered to give my cancellation confirmation number by the man who accepted my cancellation of the 1st night a month prior. She declined. Upon checkout, the bill did contain the night I had cancelled; when I pressed the point, the man at the desk did credit me with the properly cancelled date. However, he refused to give me the discounted rate on the other 3 nights, which cost me an additional $330.00 US Funds, leaving me to question my continued patronage of this motel chain. Yes, the TV remote didn't work and the pool was closed for season, but, so what?
