The Bad: The TV's (3) did not work when we arrived or the air conditioner. We were told the hotel is conserving energy and the air conditioner only works when someone is in the room. This was completly unacceptable for us. We were travling with 3 young kids that were not use to the heat. When we asked for hair spray and lotion, we were told to go to the lobby if we wanted lotion and we had to buy the hair spray. Their store is a joke. It costs me $32 for 5 pops and 5 ice cream bars. We had to repeatedly remind the staff that we were a family of 5 and to leave enough towels, shampoo and other things for us each day. The light on the celing fan didnt work and it took them until the next day to fix, which they did while leaving the fron door wide open. There were never enough towels by the pool. When the BBQ didnt work, we were told to come to the lobby and they would give us something to make the BBQ work. The door was very hard to open. We had to kick it sometimes just to open it. The hotel advertises for long term stay, but no dresser for your clothes and 1 tiny drawer in the bathroom for things. The pool in tiny. We were told that appetizers would be served each week night and they were only served 2 night we were there. There were a couple of days that our rooms were cleaned but it did not look like the floors were vaccumed. The Good: The set up of this hotel is great for families. We had our own bedroom with doors that closed for a little privacy. A full kitchen and two full bathrooms. The BBQ was nice as well. There was a security gate and you needed a room key to get past in. But you could walk right by it. Each morning, a full breakfast was provided. The food was great and several things to choose from and the staff made sure that everything was stocked and didnt run out of anything. 2 of the nights we were there, they served appetizers and beer. The food was not as good, but better than spending more money going out for dinner. The staff who fixed our TVs and light were very friendly. Checking in and out was very easy. We loved the location. It was only about a block from the strip.

Unlike most other chains advertised suites, this one actually is. Family of six, we liked the upstairs/downstairs. Kids enjoyed the pool, used it twice a day, every day. Directly across the street from the monorail. We used it to go everywhere and left the rental car parked. The only negative: hot. In fairness to Mariott, Las Vegas was experiencing record breaking temps, never could get room temps below 80 degrees during the day. We had a second floor suite. I would bet the lower floors were better temp controlled. Not too big a burden as we were out of the room most days and temps were more moderate at night. If you want to avoid the casinos (like us), Residence Inn is a good choice. Reasonably priced for Vegas and convenient to everywhere. Kid friendly.

We're always welcome at Residence Inn - and that includes bringing our furry friend, Schnappsie! Leaving our miniature schnauzer home or in a kennel while going to visit family in Las Vegas, or just out for a weekend of fun is just not an option. Residence Inn allows us to bring our well trained and behaved four-legged friend and make his stay as comfortable as ours! In a town of high rise hotels, this hotel ranks high with us for convenience and caring... Thanks!!

I Love the Place! The Service was Great. All the Rooms have kitchens with New Appliances. The Pool and indoor exercise room were great. It's Located in Green Valley (behind the AirPort) But I never heard the Airplanes inside the Rooms. This Has to be the Best Hotel in Las Vegas that Accepts Pet's.

This is the best hotel I have found to use as a vendor at trade shows in the Las Vegas Convention Center. Right across the street from the Center, no cabs, no monorail, no busses, just use your feet a short distance and you are there. NO charge for receiving last minute materials by parcel delivery. Breakfast included. What a deal! We had trouble getting a cab and the college age desk clerk took us to our important meeting in her car! Get that at another hotel?????
