nice staff - filthy rooms

the staff were very friendly, however, the rooms leave a lot to be desired. Our first room was filthy and smelled of smoke. the bathtub had pubic hair in it, only one bath towel, and waht appeared to be seaman on the carpet. It smelled so bad my wife had to use disinefectant everywhere. We checked to hotels on Convention Blvd aftger, and they were the same range of price and 100 times cleaner. I f we hadnt prepaid and booked in advanced we wouldnt have stayed there for ten minutes

Not the best, but not the worst

This hotel was below standards in regards to the Marriot name. You could tell the maintenance of the facility had not been kept up. The rooms were clean(you can clean broken tile, but it is still broken in the end), but were very outdated . The location was close to where I needed to go. The breakfast was the highlight of this stay. I have mixed feelings about staying at this hotel again. The sad thing is, other hotels in this area are pretty much the same quality...
