Holiday Inn Express Waltham, Waltham

The bathroom door woulndn't close. The room was good but well worn down. the staff was rude. There was not bedspread or comforter on the bed. The carpets were dirty. I wouldn't stay here again.

The hotel is quite a distance from Logan airport, and a longish ride from Boston. My taxi from Logan airport to this hotel cost me $55. I had business in Cambridge the next day, and that taxi cost $25. The room was nice, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom needed some updating and a fresh coat of paint, but was clean. Breakfast is free but nothing special. An omelet and a sausage pattie that look pre-formed, and were just okay. But there's also cereal, toast, juice, fruit and lots of coffee. There's free wireless internet throughout the hotel. One big problem is that there's very little in the way of food service in the area for lunch or dinner. I was directed to the Best Western across the street, where there's a restaurant/pub. That seemed to be the only option around. Overall, it's a good, basic hotel, and it's a good value for the Boston area.

Everything from the sink counter to mattresses was newly renovated. Everything was in new, pristine condition, even the shower curtain! Everything clean. Comfortable mattress. Nothing out-of-order! Great Free Breakfast! However the curtains could not be closed. (Curtains are purely decorative.) Room could NOT be darkened. Bright outdoor lighting all night. Bring eye mask if you are over 40, or you won't sleep all night.

We had a nice stay at this hotel. The staff was nice and courteous, and the room was very nice. The continental breakfast is very nice, and the fitness room was nice, but homely and nicely set up. it is also convieniently located 15 miles fro Logan airport, and just 10 minutes from boston. My family and I loved this hotel.

This place was great. Our room was comfortable and quiet. We were given complimentary water, oreos and chips in the room when we arrived. We needed a repair to the drapes and maintenance man was there within 20 minutes. The buffet was fabulous. No complaints. Great value considering it's near Boston. No pool but we don't swim anyway.

The sadness for this hotel is the people working there have no ideas how to treat guests nice. We all know the reputation is the king for a long lasting business and one. You need years to build your reputation and one second to destroy it. It just happened in this hotel. I'll never ever come back in Any Holiday Inn.
