Great Location
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/12/08
We will be back next year!! This was one of the best Hotels along the strip. The view was amazing, we could see Wet-n-Wild, Universal Studios, Fun Spot and all of Sandy Lake. I was reading all of the comments people left on here before I booked the hotel for the week; all I kept reading about was the poor breakfast. Just 1/2 block away is a Ponderosa that has a $3.99 all you can eat breakfast buffet. There are so many places to eat all within walking distance. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend renting a car just because there are so many beaches that are beautiful this time of year. My husband and I went to Cocoa Beach which is about a 40 minute drive, but it was so worth it (go parasailing it is great). I would recommend this Hotel to anyone who wants to have a good time in Orlando without breaking the bank and your back; the beds were AMAZING.

because it was an adventure holiday, we wernt planning on stayin in our room for very long as we were planning on bein out exploring, shoppin and at the theme parks most of the time. this hotel was idea, it was an ieal location, centre of international drive, with access to the i-rides. also, the reception area had internet access which was good expecially to keep in touch with home and check the park times etc. although there is a breakfast included ni the price, it was minimal and the earlier you went down the better because there was more choice and you actually were able to get a seat! overall, i wud recommend this hotel if you are only planning on using it to sleep in !

Not to bad
By Chrissy, 02/27/08
I only have one complaint and that was there is only one ice machine in the whole building and its on the first floor. keep in mind there are 12 floors. I didn't really understand that but besides that, everything else was wonderful. The beds were really comfortable, the wifi internet worked pretty well most of the time, at night it was a little slow, im guessing because everyone was trying to use it. The pool was a little small but not a big deal to me. The breakfast was actually pretty good, they had the normal cereal and bagels and donuts but they also had waffles and toast and fruit. the dining area was good sized. Keep in mind this is not a 5 star hotel, but the staff is very friendly and most of them were bi-lingual if thats important to you. We had a great time and would defintely go back.

Poor maintenance
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/26/07
We stayed in June 2007. Room we were given had bad wiring in the light at the bed. Door had to be pushed or kicked to get open. We did find the room comfortable and the safe we had was a nice feature. The morning breakfast area is too small for number of guests. You will be standing and eating because there are not enough places to sit. Pool was filthy when we arrived, although they cleaned it later. They offer laundry on each floor and maybe one dryer worked at the entire hotel.

Great Hotel
By Payochie, 05/07/06
Hotel is in a great location, on the I-drive. Restaurants in walking distance. Big Rooms, nice view from the room on the small lake and Wet & Wild. Universal in the background, nice view at night. Bed are good, no complain. Breakfast is not much, but the coffee is ok.

Could be better
By Beans, 02/04/06
I booked a room for 4 nights. I was quoted a great price. I called twice to conferm the amount I was to pay and I was reasured thats what I was going to pay. When I got there the gave me a total that was a hundred dollars more then when I was quoted. With no room for negotiation. They guy at the front desk was friendly and I could tell he would of helped me if he could. We stayed one night. The room was big with a nice view. But in the morning we found some guests in the bathroom. There were ants everywhere! Im glad we checked out that morning!

We saw it all
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/21/05
The whole look of the hotel didn't work for me. It looked like it was a cheap motel. But once we got to our room. I didn't care about how the building looked. I fell in love with the view. We had a great view of the water park, because our room was facing the lake that the water park uses. So we saw the excitement early in the morning. We could also see the rides from Universal or Island of Adveture. Particulary the Hulk. That is my brother's favorite ride. So once we saw it the emotions of happiness starting in. We had a great night sleep and the ac worked great. The next day we knew what we were in for. Because we saw it all. By the way the hotel is by the main street, as locals call it I-drive. I would stay there again.
