Hotel was dirty and smelled tree sap all over car and they said owell dont waste your money

Stay here if you don't want any rest and alot of excitement. Police, ambulance and fire trunks every night for my 3-day stay. The area is not safe. Too much crime. Someone was killed behind the IHOP during my stay.

I booked over 50 rooms for a conference and the rooms were not ready for my guest when they arrived. They were in the middle of remodeling which took away from atmosphere of the guest lounge in front. Because of the renovation, no breakfast was available. The rooms were sleezy, mattress dirty, carpet dirty, no amenities, extremely noisy, high traffic, a shoot out a couple days prior, trash outside, I didn't feel safe and I didn't bathe because I didn't feel comfortable with using their facility and linen. However, the convieniece was in the IHOP restaurant located next door amongst other restaurants within walking distance. Easy freeway access. And I would not recommend any one else to stay there again. I was embarrassed and ashamed. Some of my guest checked out and went to other nearby hotels.

The room was not clean. There wee people hanging outside of the rooms and the police were called.

We checked in at 4:30 pm and the staff said that our room was ready, except that it needed towels. When we walked into the room it was not ready...it was filthy, stinky, and they had still not cleaned it. We were moved to a different room, but it had no hair dryer, or coffee pot and also did not have any shampoo. One of my pillow cases were dirty. When I called the front desk to ask for a hair dryer, they said they would bring up one as soon as they could. We never heard from them. I hardly slept that night. I had the creeps. In the morning I called again and asked for the manager but they told me she wouldn't be in until 3:00 pm. I asked again for another hair dryer and they said they didn't have any. I then proceeded to tell them all of my complaints and that I wanted a discount. He then told me that he went ahead and gave me a discount and that the room would only be $45.00. We weren't able to wash our hair that day because of not having a hair dryer. When we went to the front desk to check out, we wanted to make sure we got a discount on our room. They said they didn't know anything about a discount, and basically tried to lie their way out of the whole situation. We then talked to someone who I assume was the manager and finally did get our discount. In my opinion, our stay wasn't even worth $45.00. The service is terrible and they are very unprofessional. I give this hotel absolutely NO stars.

We were traveling and found this hotel to be reasonable for a night so we planned to stay, What a mistake that was. We couldn't sleep because of all the noise and the manager would not help keep things peaceful. I would travel an extra 20 miles to avoid this place.

We use this facility because it is clean, comfortable and close to Sacramento airport at a reasonable price.
