Courtyard by Marriott Santa Rosa, Santa Rosa

I crashed at this Marriott one night, while I was on my way to Sonoma. My friend had already checked in hours before me but when I arrived there was no way of entering the hotel since it was about 1am.The front doors lobby was locked and I had to call him on his international cellphone so that he could come down to get me. I thought hotel doors should never be locked??

The rooms were rather large sized but arrange in such a way that the washroom was situated outside the bathroom. That was just way too awkward for me... brusing and washing my face in front of a guy friend that I didnt realy know too well. I didnt really like it.

Other than that, as soon as I lay in bed, it was over. Beds were really comfortable and I woke up very refreshed.

Hallways were somewhat clean and staff was friendly in the morning during check out. I enquired about the place being locked down when it was late and they told me that they were not usually staffed past 1am - which I thought was weird hotel policy. If you plan to check in to this hotel late, forget about it!
