Worst hotel I've every ALMOST stayed at!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/23/12
Our non-smoking room reaked of stale smoke, dirt and what I figure must have been urine... There were smashed cigarette butts in the shared entry way to our room. Counters had coffee splills from patrons before and were not cleaned. Carpet and chairs at table were so filthy that you couldn't walk barefoot or sit without putting a towel down. Loud, young partiers hung outside, while the hotel room next door reaked of pot smoke. In the extremely short time we were there, a police car made what looked like a regular canvas through the parking lot. A vagabond was walking around outside our room in a garbage bag when we left to eat dinner. Went to a local restaurant and the waitress asked us where we were staying. We mentioned this particular hotel and she was very concerned as she noticed we had our two young children with us... Referred to the hotel as a "whore house" and "drug haven". We went straight back after dinner and checked out. We paid cash upfront for three days and fortunately got all our money back (although they still have our credit card info). This hotel is NOT a kid friendly place and we didn't feel safe for a moment. I am surprised that this is a Travelodge. We had three other rooms reserved for family members who were planning on staying at this hotel who we warned about our experience, so they cancelled their reservations and were not given their money back. Yes, the prices are very cheap for the area... but in this particular case, you definitely get what you pay for. It was worth every penny of the extra $25-$30 a night to stay in the safe, clean and reputable hotel up the street...

Flop house for druggies and prostitutes
By barfed, 1/20/12
They are running a long term rental hotel for excons and meth addict prostitutes. Front desk is extremely rude, no wonder as the type of guest they cater to.

Stay away!
By Donald F, 4/8/09
On Tuesday, Feb 24 my wife and I stopped by to reserve a room for some relatives and pay for it. My wife had just lost her mother and was expecting some relatives for the funeral. We stopped by and spoke with Neetu. She was helpful and had me fill out a form allowing them to charge my card. I gave her the names of the guests who were expected for two nights beginning on Thursday Feb 26, 2009. We also requested a crib and were assured all was fine with the reservations. On Thursday evening our relatives showed up around 10:00 PM and tried to get the room. They were told by the night person, Mike, they could not have the room. He said I would have to come down to take care of the financials. I had already taken care of this with Neetu but he did not relent and insisted I travel some distance to come down at 11:00 PM and take care of things. The front desk had a record of my permission and all my credit card details. Mike was very rude to me and my relatives. When my sister-in-law told him they had just traveled 700 miles, driving 12 hours to come to her mother’s funeral, he just shrugged his shoulders as if it were her problem and left them standing in the cold. He was nearly impossible to understand on the phone because of an accent. When I finally drove down to the hotel he was just as rude to me. It was as if we were bothering him. I had gone out of my way to set this up and had been assured by Neetu all was well but he was not about to accommodate us in any way. When I finally got there, Mike was belligerent (and I was furious). He tried to tell me we had done things wrong and it was my fault. He did allow them in the room though just before I got there so I take it he found a way to deal with the problem, but not before inconveniencing my grieving relatives and making my evening hell. This is a very bad place. I used to stay there years ago but have written it off my list. Mike should be fired!

Would Not Stay Again
By CS, 8/22/08
The non-smoking room reeked of cigarettes. Carpets were dirty.

Best value around.
By Bryant, 9/6/05
For $48 including tax you get a clean, decent hotel like a Motel 6 or Super 8 but with key cards and a small swimming pool. No helicopters flying around. No illicit activities. It's fine and a good deal.
