Holiday Inn Express Indio, Indio

We leave on our trips after work and head for places about four hours out. HI Express Indio met our need. The location is easy to find, extremely easy access. The rate was good. It's a decent place for a few hours rest. Free wireless internet that works great. It has the dependable HI Express breakfast in a nicely styled lobby and breakfast area. If you want a quiet lengthy stay in the Indio Palm Springs area, this isn't the place for you. It's adjacent to I-10 24 hours per day, beyond I-10 is a main Union Pacific Railroad line. If a relatively quiet get away you seek, look to the southwest along the foot of the towering mountains you can see from the Indio Holiday Inn Express.

We had a smoking room (requested by us). It had a slight smoke smell, but I have been in a lot worse. When we called they said they had plenty of room for tractor-trailer combos. with a little extra work we were able to get two trucks into the area they wanted us to park. The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The only two problems I found was our door wasn't leveled so you could see daylight even when it was closed and the bathroom fan rattled when it was on. I did love the layout of the room and how everything was set up.

the room was dingy, somehow flys keep entering the room. air condition does not operate well. you might as well go the the casino resort next door.

I had a smoking room (requested by me) however, the room was dingy, smelly. Someone had appartly tried to wash the drapes, but they were wrinkled. There was a hole in the "sofa", the walls were discolored. So, if you are looking for a place to just lay your head for a few hours, this is the place to go!!
