Sourdough Visitors Lodge Motel, Anchorage

This place was like a dirty low income apartment. We took one look at the filthy carpeting, and cheap furniture and walked out the door. There were young men standing on the balconies drinking and I doubt that they were tourist. I think that they lived here. After talking to others in the area I believe that this hotel is mainly used for low income housing. The parking area was very poorly lit, with beer bottles littering the grounds and a couple of drunken people grouping each other. We didn't feel safe enough to spend one night here, we thought that we would robbed. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.
