Hotel Victoria, Toronto

It was our anniversary and my husband and I decided to spend the weekend in TO. We booked Hotel Victoria online and we were very happy with our experience. The Hotel is in a super convenient location within walking distance of most everything you want in downtown Toronto. Yes there was no parking...bummer... but we did find a lot a block away from the hotel and because everything was so close by we parked the car and walked the entire weekend. The staff was friendly and had plenty of ideas for things to do. We went to see Mama Mia and the staff recommended a few restuarants. The room was small but stylish and certainly clean. One of the most comfortable beds we have slept in away from home. We didn't explore much more of the hotel but from what we did see we were happy. Our room was on the 2nd floor and we had no view but it was quiet and cozy. The elevator was really not an issue for us because we prefered to use the stairs since we were just on the 2nd floor. It was a small elevator and there is only one so I guess for other guest on upper floors that could cause a wait. We enjoyed the continental breakfast and fresh fruit. We knew before hand that there was not a fitness center like we usually want but they had a gym close by that guests could use for a reduced price. Our plan was to see the city and we got plenty of exerecise walking around. All in all since it was so close to everything we wanted to see and do and the price was right I would recommend and stay at hotel Victoria again.
