Holiday Inn Southgate Detroit, Southgate

This particular holiday inn express stay was horrible-The Front desk mnger was very rude and bossy..1/2 of the kids which were 14 children total..and remind you i had got a double jointed room not all 14 kids were staying the nite either,4kids could not swim cause of the wrist band issues.. so that started the day off bad--i felt singled out,after all they had a wedding going on and 2 hockey teams parting..after the lady @the front desk when i reserved the rooms said ohh there will not b a problem with wrist bands..remind you again i am a priority club member since 2006 and spend lots of $$ every year@holiday inns around the U.S. on this date in march 2011,i received my credit card statement just 2 see there was $100.00 tooken from sheers being ruined??so i called wanting answers..all they had 2say is there was pizza on them-remind you we didnt order pizza,we had snacks n junk food.. all around issue it was a bogus deduction on their part??i paid $267.80 for the rooms-$35.00 4 the breakfast @ the breakfast bar-$20.00@ the arcade & $15.00@ the vending machines.. and we always @ our best pick up the rooms when we leave.i have worked b-4 in house cleaning i know how it is 2 clean a nasty room.i am very dissapointed in my stay here and i am not looking forward 2 ever staying @ a holiday inn again-untill they can get new mng in and show some type of pleasing their customers...

"March 21, 2009" My Daughter and Son-in-law had their Wedding Reception here. I couldn't have ask for a more beautiful Reception,they went above and beyond what I expected. The Food was wonderful, the Hall was Beautiful, and the Staff very friendly. Thank You So Much !!!! I would highly recommend this place for any type of special event.
