Crown Inn & Suites, Spring Valley

The experience I had here was pleasant and comfortable - not only were they understanding when we had a cash flow problem, they worked with us to pay them the balance which was really appreciated.Overall, its a wonderful place to stay!

I like the Crown Inn Suites for the fact that it's a clean place, the staff are very friendly and it's very affordable i would recommend the crown in to a friend not many hotels in San diego are inexpensive as the crown inn suites and the people that stay in the crown are polite,and every time i stay at a hotel i always choose the crown inn and will always choose the crown inn over any other hotel in san diego,and for the simple fact that it is close to everything makes it helpful as well all in all the crown inn suites is a good location and i love the service i get from them and i also want to go on to say Bill,Art and Latethia kudos to all of you and keep up the good work.

you did not come here for the ritz...you came becauase it was cheap....for a good rate was given a roof.....a bed .......a hot shower nightly.....it was great :):) ...yes it is the type ofneighborhood you have to do for yourself....so make sure you are an adult!!! and the people here were nice even to people like me who are from the opposite side of the country ......i would come back and only recommend this place for adults not children that whine about how they are missing the frills by having to do your own towels and providing your own shampoo andhavingto do your own floors and such grow up!! ps there were no drugs to be found

THE OWNER IS A RIP OFF ARTIST WHO SPENDS HIS TIME IN VEGAS LOOKING FOR BLACK WHORES AND WHOM KEEPS HIS DOGS CAGED IN A TINY HOT OFFICE ALL DAY LONG. THE RESIDENTIAL TENANTS HAVE HAD THEIR MAIL WITHHELD WHICH IS A VIOLATION OF FEDERAL LAW AND THE STAFF FIX THE BOOKS TO CHARGE WHATEVER THEY DEEM APPLICABLE AT THE MOMENT. CHARGING A CREDIT CARD A SURCHARGE FEE IN THIS STATE IS ILLEGAL BUT THEY DO THAT TOO AND THE PRICES FOR THEIR BUG INFESTED SYRINGE POPPING OUT OF WOODWORK FACILITY IS OSTENTATIOUS. AN ABOMINATION TO THE LOVELY CITY OF CASA DE ORO AND SHOULD BE TORN DOWN,.

no cleaning service...have to wash the towels and sheets...noisy...dirty pool

Please do yourself a favor and do NOT stay here. If you want to live, do NOT stay here. If you want to keep your kids away from drugs and prostitution, do NOT stay here. If you want nothing to do with drugs, rape, brothels, do NOT stay here. All it took was driving into the lot for me to realize that this place is a shithole. And here's some of my experiences: 1. the Rastafarian-like man who checked us in was high and drunk 2. the room smelled like smoke 3. the bed was propped up by stone bricks rather than a bed frame 4. toilet bowl cover was cracked and soldered back together 5. the sketchy people sitting outside, smoking and just staring at you as you walk by with your luggage 6. the prostitute that just left a room as I pulled into the lot 7. the 10 year old boy drinking and smoking Shall I go on? I think my point has been made. I would bet my life on the fact ANY previous review that gave this place 4 or 5 stars, was written by Arthur (the shady owner). And if you would like free rent and you are a female, just talk to Arthur, because apparently he's starting a porn site and soliciting female tenants in return for free rent. Just read the previous post. And if you don't believe me, just call the San Diego Sheriff's office (858-565-5200) and all you have to say is "I'd like to report a motel in Spring Valley." The immediate response you will get back is "Is it Arthur at Crown Inn?" That's how bad it is.

My girlfriend and I stayed there for several weeks, because we were waiting for an apartment to move in to, and this place was cheap. If you are a normal person, maybe traveling in San Diego, you won't believe the place. First off, it's a dump. You park underneath the rooms, and when you pull in, there are all kinds of shifty people loitering around, there is junk everywhere. People hang out all day, and let their kids run around screaming and unwatched. They promised wi-fi, which is one of the main reasons I stayed there. Took the owner 4 days to get me online, and I had to help him set up the network. All his employees work for free rooms. The place is full of drug addicts and parolees. The cops are there all the time, as well as probation and parole agents doing sweeps. There are prostitutes working out of there, and to top it off, the owner, Arthur, runs, or at least was trying to start up an internet webcam/chat room and was recruiting women who were staying there to work as porn chat hostesses. He manipulated my girlfriend into going down to his room while I was gone, and tried to recruit her to be on his webcam site. He knew I was with her and also that we were broke and desperate for money, and took advantage of it. A total creep, preying on those who are down and out and desperate. Arthur will probably answer this and deny everything, but if you don't believe me, call the San Diego Sheriffs Dept, Spring Valley precinct, and ask THEM about it. So if you are looking for a place to buy hookers and drugs, or want to get naked for the creep owner for money off your rent, go there. If not, do yourself a favor: Avoid this place like any other ghetto crack motel.

We liked the fact that it was inexpensive & clean. The staff was very courteous. And because it was a local motel, alot of people knew each other. This made for a friendly environment.

I was so, so, about staying here, because of the outside. But when I talk to the front desk, turn out to be really nice, they make you feel welcome, was very nice, they owner even came out to talk with us, we wanted to know were we can go to get some food? He insure us we were close to everything. that was so true, post office library, car wash, food, and he even gave us a cheaper rate on our room. The rooms was clean, big bed, big tv, very quite. Overall it was surprise to me to be a good place to stay.

SISTER IS MENTALLY UNSTABLE & DID NOT TAKE HER MEDICATIONS WITH HER. THEY WOULD NOT TELL ME IF SHE WAS EVEN ON THEIR GUEST LIST. NOT ONLY DID THEY NOT TELL ME VITAL INFORMATION IN LOCATING HER, THE GUY WAS RUDE & YELLED AT ME & JUST HUNG UP. NO 4 OR 5 STAR HOTEL WOULD TREAT ANYONE THE WAY HE DID GUEST OR NOT. WENT ONLINE & READ ALL THE REVIEWS OF THIS HOTEL/MOTEL & GO FIGURE...SLEAZY, ROACH MOTEL. GUESS THAT WOULD EXPLAIN IT ALL.
