Residence Inn by Marriott Montgomery, Montgomery

Our check-in was quick and very professional. Needed to exchange an upstairs suite to a downstairs suite for my elderly mother. Gwen and Lavonya were very eager and helpful to do so and make any other adjustments for our stay. Our suite was very, very nice. Really enjoyed having the sitting area with the tv so our other family members could sit and enjoy watching the Olympics together. Our room was extremely clean, comfortable and quite; no outside noise of any type.. The breakfast bar was the best we have experienced in our travels. Hot foods, fruits, cold cereals, waffle maker, pastries, yogurts, a lot to choose from. The ladies preparing and taking care of the breakfast items were extremely nice and keeping the bar full of the items. No running out of anything. I suppose the only problem we encountered was there was no ice made in the freezer for a cold drink when we arrived. Went to the office, Lavonya immediately gave us ice to take back to our room. I would definately stay here again if back in the Montgomery area..

I loved the suite and the fact that it was so spacious. T.V.'s in the "living area" and both rooms was nice. Kitchen was really nice and had anything we needed... But it was a very dirty suite. The bathrooms were dirty, I wiped out brown residue from the tubs before allowing my kids to take a bath. The suite smelled strong of pet odors and it kinda ruined the experience. If it were cleaner it'd have been great. AND the beds weren't comfy and didn't feel clean either.

the room was very clean. nice area. lots of nice places to dine at. the staff was very helpfull.but the pool and hot tub was very dirty. we called ahead of time 2wks and was told it would be ready, but it wasn't.and breakfast was ok if you don't eat meat for breakfast. overall i would only stay there in fall or the winter.
