Days Inn Muskogee, Muskogee

Will never stay in another Days Inn again...or any Wyndham Group motel !! I brought my wife up to Muskogee,Ok for mothers day to spend time with her terminally ill 7yr old granddaughter and daughter. The motel was not the best, but was not the worst.. was not that clean and service sucked, but we stayed. Everything was ok for a couple days, but on the 3rd day about 6:30 pm the daughter and granddaughter came to visit us to swim in the pool and eat watermelon. My wife is a stroke patient 46 yrs young and most of the time has to use a wheel chair to get around, but the pool was not far so she used a cane to walk to the pool. We were in the pool with the grand kids and some night manager( Ron ) had been staring at us the whole time, well he came over and ask my wife what room we were in and she told him he said ok, but some one complained about the 7yr old making too much noise @ 6:30/7pm it does not get dark till 8pm or so and pool does not close till 9pm... Now a 7yr old having fun in a pool is going to make a little noise, but not that much... well we only stayed in the pool for 35/40 min then went to our room and we sat out front eating watermelon. well my wife could not stand anymore cause of her stroke so i got a chair out of the room for her... Well here come Ron again and proceeded to jump all over us for bringing my handicap wife a chair to sit on while she enjoyed her time with her terminally ill 7yr old granddaughter.... and then proceeded to tell her daughter and granddaughter that they were not even supposed to be here..... I will contact my Lawyer.....BY THE WAY NOTICE THE DATES ON THE OTHER COMMENTS THEY WAS 3 YEARS AGO..without those it would be a ZERO.

my daughter an i recently stayed here on our way to Kansas from Texas and we found this place absolutely wonderful. the employees were curteous, the rooms were clean and fresh smelling, they had terrific internet connections, and the location was very nice. we had to walk about two minutes to get to just about any restaurant, wendy's, subway, el charro's, this nice little chinese place, and even an italian restaurant called napolis was bout 10 minutes walking distance. we recommemend this place to anyone that comes to muskogee. its worth the price. you receive the comfortable feeling of home here. we loved it and are definitely coming back if we come to muskogee again.

I thought it was a wonderful experience. The employees were very polite, the location is great. There are so many restaurants just in walking distance. Also, the room was very clean. It was nice an warm as soon as i went inside. And the carpet was clean too, you dont get to see that very often in hotels. There also had great internet connection. There office was a bit small, but the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Fresh doughnuts, juice, fruits, bagels, honeybuns....my kids fully enjoyed their breakfast. I would definitely recommend this place. Its a great family place as well as just a singles place.

We stayed here for our daughter's wedding. And on Saturday night about 10:30pm a staff member came into my son's room without knocking and wanting to know what he was doing there. My son is a disabled vet and this woke he and his wife out of dead sleep. Then she went back to the office and called the room wanting to know who had checked him in. We had been there for 2 days. Needless to say they didn't get any sleep that night after this incident. We recieved nothing...no even an explanation for why this happened. Today I called to inquire about the note I had left...they are investigating this incident. Doubt that we hear anything about this. So wouldn't recommend staying here. I know I won't stay again.

What swimming pool? There was a little green water in the bottom. Where do you eat your continental breakfast? There are no tables not even in our room. Badly in need of updating, inside and out. The carpets and two chairs were dirty. The bedspreads were stained and needed washing. The bathtub was nasty looking. The small refregerator was all dented up and the microwave...once white had turned yellow. Three towels and two cups for four people. Barking dog next door. Not worth the price. A very bad experience.
