facility is good, they have good spread service is pathetic.. food was bad, with limited choice and more importantly bad food

I stayed at the hotel in conjunction with SCC 2009 conference. Location was fine and being outside of city really helped in keeping the people together. However, the location completely eliminated short visits to the city. For instance, some colleagues had to wait for a taxi for 3 hours after ordering it, which meant that too much valuable time was spent for organizing transportation means. Thus the location does not suit people who have to visit Bangalore and have limited time and whose time is valuable. Another, even more important issue, which arose during my stay, is related to way how the management is maintaining resort's money flows. First of all it took me 4 letters to the registration office to explain that I needed a stay for 6 days, not 7 days as proposed by the registration office after receiving my travel plan. Apparently they were very aggressively trying to increase their sales. Moreover, during check-in I was given by the hotel stuff a welcome letter stating in bold letters which facilities are included in the package and that breakfast, lunch and dinner are included in the package as well. Anyway, during check-out they still charged for all the meals and completely backed away from their promises by stating that the letter was a mistake made by one of their employees. The same happened to a number of other participants as well. Making a customer to pay for service provider's mistakes definitely does not align well with best practices of developed world. By taking into account that Angsana charges as much as European and US resorts/hotels for the same level of service and a long way The preceding has irreversibly damaged the reputation and credibility of entire Angsana group in my eyes. There are plenty of hotels and resorts in India, which are still willing to provide better value within the same price range as this resort reviewed here. I would not recommend to visit Angsana unless you are Indian and have a background of a lawyer.

Well the Best thing about this place is its location. Its is situated on the out skirts of Bangalore making it isolated from the rush hours of Bangalore city. As i said that its out of the city so sometimes it really gets tough to be there specially during rainy season as not many people would like to be there.Facilities top class.One of the cheapest or the cheapest spot with quality stuff. worth making a visit with ur family and Love. Best place for Romance. Hmmm... Cheers!!!!!

The ambience,locations whihc is far away from noisy city limits. The staff is couteou and friendly. the restaurant also is equally good. I am told that teh ayurveda spa is good though did not use it personlly

We stayed here because all central hotels were full. Definitely not a good idea. This is what I wrote to them at the time: Your website is in many respects misleading: for example, it describes the location of the hotel as 'A scenic 45-minute drive from Bangalore Airport, with convenient access to Bangalore city' The journey actually takes twice that time and in no respect can be called 'scenic'. We were on business in Bangalore and found the location very inconvenient. The website makes reference to 'unparalleled service'. In reality, whilst always pleasant, service was amongst the slowest and most inefficient ever encountered. The room in which I stayed (2010) was dark and gloomy. Both the air-conditioning unit and the ceiling fan were too noisy to leave on at night. As there was no mosquito net or screen, the only option was to keep the windows closed. Sleep in these conditions was virtually impossible. The bathroom was amongst the smallest that I have ever used. The shower spurted water sideways and was therefore unusable if one did not wish to receive water in the face and head. Fortunately a knee-level tap in the shower meant that washing was possible if uncomfortable. The lavatory was fixed at a height unsuitable for normal-sized people. No facecloths or robe were provided. The fridge did not work. The internet connection did not work. Prompt reaction on the part of Reception sent an engineer to check it but he was not able to repair it. For someone on a business trip it is not acceptable that breakfast is not available until 7.30. On one of the two mornings that we were there, the breakfast buffet was unavailable, apparently because the chef had not arrived. The restaurant itself is a very unpleasant room which resembles a works' canteen: barn-like construction, terrible acoustics, tiny tables, too-strong lighting and no sense of any aesthetic considerations. The service was generally slow, although always pleasant. The food, on the other hand, was excellent. We did not have the opportunity to try any of the resort's spa facilities but I can only say that I am not at all tempted to return as a tourist and would not recommend it to anyone else. Far from a 'luxuriant sanctuary' I found the architecture heavy and oppressive, although it must be said that the grounds are beautifully maintained. As a business hotel I have rarely stayed in worse. On future visits to Bangalore we will ensure that we stay somewhere else and will advise colleagues accordingly.

omg its such a wonderful place to hang out....huh but expensive.......try it some day.......its cool to be here with ur gf although i have never been here with my gf....someday am gonna take her here soooooooooooooooon
