The best one around victoria station
By genoveva_moreno, 01/24/08
Perfect for business travelers, but also convenient for tourists. It's the best hotel in the area. Cool, nice and good price. Rooms are good size and very clean. Service: Staff is nice and very professional. 24 hour room service available with a good choice of meals. Location: It is 2 minutes from Victoria Station. Very close, but far enough so you don't hear the noisy trains.

Location and Style
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/14/05
Location is right across the street from the Victoria Train Station so need to spend money on a taxi! Hotel is the best! Have stayed once and will be going back next month. Beds are comfy, bathrooms are great, and the Lounge is the BEST! I think my husband and I are looking most forward to hanging ou in the Lounge every evening when we return. The coffee shop attached is great and has the yummiest little pastries. I didn't eat at the resturant but it looked a bit expensive. Then again, eating in London is expensive anywhere you go. Walk to Buckingham Palace, catch the double decker bus tours around the corner from the hotel and just meander around the neighborhood. There is also a grocery store and convenience store across the street. And for breakfast, you must walk south about 2 blocks to the best breakfast/brunch/lunch joint ever! We are excited about having breakfast there again. The smoothies are to die for!

June London trip
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/28/05
Good points: 1. Great location, near Victoria train station in central London. 2. Attractive outside and inside, room was spacious, nicely appointed, comfortable, A/C worked great. 3. Room service staff was friendly and efficient, twice we ordered meals and were great both times (try the burgers, hmmm). Bad points: 1. Lobby staff weren't as cordial as I would have liked. 2. Beware of the "Executive Room" deal, costs 25 pounds per day (for a couple), get a mediocre continental breakfast, 1 hr of room Internet access (need your own laptop), room available at 7-10AM, 2-5PM and 6-8PM, business travellers may like this. Executive room keys almost never worked. Use of Internet terminals there is an extra charge. 3. Gym was supposedly out of order, but I used my room key and entered with no problem and used the equipment (nice). Then some snooty personal trainer came in and couldn't give me a good reason why the gym was closed, but he and one of his clients were there because of an appointment. Overall, the hotel itself was fine. Some of the amenities were not so fine. For under $200 a night I felt it was a good deal despite the inconveniences.

A nice place to stay
By Marcos, 04/25/04
I have stayed various dozens of times at this hotel for work reasons and I can only say good things about this place. The rooms are fantastic, with super king size beds, a nice selection of tv channels and broadband connection if you need to get online. The breakfast is pretty nice and if you get a chance to go to the executive room do it cause the restaurant is a bit crowded at peak times. Only bad side is that Victoria is not a great location to go out.
