Low-Maintenance Crowd Only, Please
The Red Roof Inn is apparently under new management - not in a great way. The location right off I-75 is the best thing going at this hotel.
The towels were so thin and felt like sand paper. There was no iron/ironing board in the room. When we asked for one, we had to go downstairs to get it. They gave us one of those table top ironing boards that was useless for my 6'3" husband's attire. We gave up and ironed on the bed since it was so stiff. The continental breakfast was an assortment of dry cereals.
Even when we were approved for a late-checkout, we got all the way upstairs only to find that our room cards had expired. So we had to go all the way back downstairs to get the issue resolved - super annoying since the one elevator in the building was extremely slow!
The RRI is a more suitable layover place for the low-maintenance crowd.
