The Good... good location off I-276. 5 miles from King of Prussia Mall and about 6 from Valley Forge, although it'll cost $1 on the turnpike. The exterior of the property is well kept, well-lit, and visible from the interstate. Front desk area looked clean, as did the other common areas. There are 2 chain-type restaurants within 100 yards.
The Bad... upon arrival and inspection of first room, we found the bathroom area to be very unclean, including the hotel-supplied hair dryer. Spoke to the front desk clerk who apologized repeatedly and switched our room with no problem. However, the majority of the housekeeping staff were very impersonable. The room was average. Lots of scuffs and marks on the furniture and walls. Bathroom area was average, with the shower head being at an approximate height of 5'10". The towels were like burlap, and the toilet paper like ultra-thin sandpaper. Carpet was very worn. Pillows were extremely soft. Pullout mattress had a nasty stain on it and wasn't one that can be flipped over. Also, one of the sheets had a bad smudge on it. This hotel supplies glass glasses (instead of the plastic) so you hope they've been cleaned properly if you chose to use them. The room is also setup very poorly and is narrow. In the queen bed rooms there are 2 TV's within 4 feet of each other. In the king room, when you open up the sofa bed, you have to move the TV stand. Finally, the pool was about 95 degrees, the hot tub was about 75, and the chlorine was HIGH. There were no complementary towels to be found. No wireless internet connection either.
Not impressed whatsoever with this chain of Marriott, and probably will not use again unless necessary.
