GrandStay Residential Suites, Fort Myers

My sons and I stayed on our first and last nights in Florida while on vacation. As the other reviews state, the Inn is very clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and the pool clean. It is in a great location, easy in and out of the airport, and easy to find restaurants for lunch and supper. But....on both occasions, we found hair (not ours) on the towels in the bathroom. Okay, so we just didn't use the offending one...but the thing that irked me most was that on the morning we departed, my son discovered that he had left his prized shark's tooth necklace in our room. I called from the airport, and someone immediately checked our room and reported that the necklace had been found, and that it would be mailed to us immediately. Two weeks and several phone calls later, we are told that the necklace is nowhere to be found. Hmmmm, well, someone is certainly enjoying it, and it is not my son. This was the only thing he chose to bring back as a souvenier from our trip, and is very disappointed. Would we stay again? Possibly. Will we turn the room upside down before we check out to make sure we have everything. Definately.

This is not the first time I have stayed at the Wynstar and I am impressed with the service and facilities. I travel for work and am amazed how comforatable and clean the rooms and hotel was. By far the best breakfast room I have encountered. I will definitely stay here when in or around Ft. Myers again.

I have a stayed at many place. I travel around north america every month. I have stayed at this hotel twice. I have never saw or heard of this place before. I was sent here by the airlines on a delayed flight. THIS IS THE MOST CLEAN, NICE ATOMSPHER, AND FRIENDLIEST STAFF ( even the housekeepers)I'VE EVER ENCOUNTER. I definitly recommend you give this place a try when ever in Fort Myers. I called this the BEST KEPT SECRET IN TOWN!!!!! Have Fun!

Enjoyed my stay at the Wynstar. My room was comfortable and clean, the staff was very helpful with recomending area attractions and the breakfast was outstanding. I will definently stay here again in the future.

We had an early flight out of Ft. Myers and wanted a hotel close to the airport. What a great find the Wynstar was. Probably the cleanes hotel in southwest Florida. The staff was friendly and the free breakfas was better than good. You would think that this hotel was built yesterday, but the staff says it is 6 years old. GOOD JOB WYNSTAR - WE WILL BE BACK.

After my flight was cancelled on August 8th, 2007, Delta put me up at the Wynstar Inn and Suites in Fort Meyers, Florida. I am shocked that this motel self-described themselves as "brand new" and also having a "smoke free ambience of class and beauty". The rooms were so dirty that I was scared to get under the covers and ended up laying my dirty clothes on the bed and sleeping on top of them. Giant Ants were crawling all over the bathroom and on the carpet. I am not sure what was brand new about the place. I was rebooked on a 12:30 flight the next day but after seeing the state of the rooms at the Wynstar, I checked out at 7:00 am and spent the day waiting in the airport.
